Everything was great until the next day when I got home and discovered that I was bit 11 times by a bed bug. Please check the bed in room 283.For the high quality of the hotel, I did not expect that to happen.M

Delta Hotels by Marriott Saint John
I think it’s the best hotel you can get in downtown SJ. It’s close to everything. No more then 5 min walking distance to everything on a night out. The rooms are secure and require a room card to enter room levels. The hotel is attached to the Mall and has a lovely view of the harbour. It is a little bit of a maze to get around, but they have plenty of signs to direct you. And the price is well worth the service. 10/10 recommend.

Expensive, but mediocre at best.While the rooms tend to be on the large side, the view is horrendous. Our king room" overlooked a rather large skylight area in the center of the hotel. Other guests were able to see directly into our room forcing us to keep the curtains closed during daylight hours. At night

Came here for a conference but it was such an unpleasant stay.The bathroom is so old especially the sink and bath top where you don’t feel comfortable at all to take a bath for sure.Basically the bathroom has no toiletries (except shampoo, shower gel, hair conditioner) at all unless you ask for it. Gave you a toothbrush but without toothpaste as they said they ran out of stock. Never been to a business hotel that can run out of toothpaste, except this one. Provided you 2-3 pieces of makeup remover pads, but when you asked for more, they told you they ran out of stock and it was for emergency only… makeup remover pads for emergency?!? In the end I gotta walk back and forth for 25 mins in order to buy my own toothpaste and makeup remover pads.Soundproofing is extremely bad even though I particularly asked for a quiet room. You will hear people slamming their doors every other minute and maybe dogs barking in the rooms. Pet-friendly hotels but not friendly to guests with no pets. I could barely sleep for the nights I stayed.The swimming pool is on such a public floor that any random people from the mall below can easily go up and walk pass it. No privacy at all.Voila the experience for more $200+ / night. If any conference is to be held at this hotel again, I won’t register it for sure. Absolutely not!

Amazing bed. Best sleep Ive had in ages. AC worked well, room was clean. Appreciate the pump soaps over bars and mini bottles.The rooms are kind of a pain to get to though. Especially when checking in after a long day.Pay to park only.

This was our second time at the Delta in saint john, and like our first time thervice was amazing! 2 years ago we set for our honeymoon in a different hotel in moncton, our service and room there had been absolutely terrible. For our second anniversary we went out to saint john at the delta. This place was amazing. The staff was all very friendly, we mentionned that we were there for our anniversary, the lady said oh good I may be able to pull a few tricks up my sleeve"

Me and my family of 7 were displaced due to a frozen pipe breaking in her kitchen. Red Cross put us up for 3 days and help us out financially but the entire time I have stayed at the Delta hotel the staff have been nothing but kind and helpful every step of the way would definitely recommend. And a quick shout out to the cleaning staff they do such a great job and are very helpful they deserve a raise. They all do
