Walmart Supercentre

Many choices, variety of products, quite big for a small town. Good for shopping with family. Large parking lot, convenient location. Very nice and helpful staff. So many deals every day.

This location is very clean and very well stocked. They have a few clearance shelves that are full of all sort of items. Jackie at the self checkout is very friendly and ready to help.

This a standard Wal-Mart. Its nice to be able to walk into a store and already know the layout more or less. Great prices with an easy location to gain access. This walmart is a super walmart with food available. Lota of parking friendly staff anf a great McDonalds on site for a quick snack

Although they filled the place with self checkout, they won't open them! Poor selection on the shelves! If Wallaceburg can do it well, why can't Chatham!

This store is a joke; management is comprised of the most miserable, jaded, and incompetent workers I have ever come across at a Walmart. They would truly benefit from a mass rehire to remove all the old workers who act lazy and entitled just because of their age and seniority.

I refuse to ever step foot I this Store again, I get it's hard times and a lot of theft is going on here, but to literally call security to every single department I walk into when I've literally shown zero signs of shoplifting, then to get their meathead muscle head security to watch me ever step and comment on my clothing. I get it I have tattoos, but if any half wit that has a Brain would see the detail and the quality and would see that I have literally celebrity artist work, not jail house ink. I was actually about to drop a grand on camp gear for my trip to back woods b.c I refuse to shop at a corporation that judges folks based on the colour of their skin!!!!

I was at this store tonight and the lines were extremely longer than they should have been. I am a retail business manager so when I noticed several exasperated ccustomers waiting for service I went to the customer service desk and asked for a management team member to be paged to the front to address the issue. The customer service desk was then opened up to help assist with the lines. I questioned the employee at the customer service counter in regards to the lack of front line service. I was informed that people called in". As a retail business manager I am very familiar with the issues that can result of employees calling in sick for their shifts. However

Everyone at walmart is usually very kind and nice but tonight at the self checkout there was a very rude associate. When people would ask for help she would make a big deal as if she isn’t payed to do this, she was talking to her friend who wasn’t on the job yet and just going on about the job. Someone tried to ask her for help while she was closing a check out and she said “k” and shooed him away and sent him to a check out, he did not speak english and needed to pay with cash. Her name was Emily and she had blonde frizzy hair she looked miserable and was rude to tiger customers aswell.

Yesterday marks the last day of shopping at Walmart due to a RUDE entitled middle-aged woman with short blonde hair and black glasses employee at the front entrance. I walked in with a Walmart bag in a cart, turned left headed to returns desk… midway to the desk, I heard a woman’s voice yelling “MA’AM GET BACK HERE. DO YOU HAVE A RETURN?!” I’ve never been yelled at upon entering a store so I thought the woman was talking to someone else. She yelled “MA’AM” again so I looked over my shoulder and she was facing me so I walked back and said “yes?” And she asked in a loud voice while I was already in front of her.. if I had a return and I replied with “yes.” She demanded I open the bag which was strange as this isn’t border security or airport security and she acted as if I committed a crime. Anyway, I’m sure people were staring and I felt uncomfortable with her behaviour. She proceeded to put a sticker in my bag and scolded me for not stopping to get the sticker when I didn’t even see her upon entering the store.. I said “okay?” with a confused look on my face and as I walked back to the returns desk, she shouted loudly “HOW MANY TIMES DO I HAVE TO TELL THESE PEOPLE?!” I was so disgusted with this lady’s behaviour that I reported it to the kind employee at the returns desk and she apologized and said she would let someone know. I continued to shop for my groceries, however, I felt compelled to confront the rude lady at the entrance. After I finished shopping, I went back to the rude lady to say I didn’t appreciate her yelling at me and behaving rudely earlier. She got defensive saying she didn’t yell and that she has a loud voice (during this conversation, she was talking in a normal tone.) I mentioned that I reported the behaviour and wished her a nice day as I walked away while she was blabbing out loud talking over me saying “OH YOU REPORTED MY BEHAVIOURRR?! GOOD FOR YOUUUU! I’M SOOOO GLAD! OHHHH NICE!”… I was so embarrassed by this and quickly walked away. How the heck can someone so unprofessional and rude be allowed to work with the public? She was completely out of line from start to finish. I hope the manager of this store has audio surveillance of this incident and reprimands her. As a Walmart customer for years, I won’t be supporting this company again.

The Manager with Purple hair is a nightmare to deal with, very unprofessional and rude. Have had other experiences and witnessed her being rude to customers at other times.Incorrectly labled items are not given as per Government policies. My husband had proof of an item that was On sale. And Manager rudely berated him told him that he was wrong. Called to try rectify the situation after visit too the store only for her speak rudely over the phone and Trying to pawn her unprofessional actions on other employees. Would not even provide me with her name. Likely because she had been caught acting inappropriately. What happened to good customer service?? This is a bad reflection of what Chatham is about, friendly and kind community.
