EDIT 11/16/22: Spoke to the head pharmacist this morning. I was deemed an abusive client for being upset about the treatment I received by a medical professional". No true apology issued. No repercussions will be taken in regards to this pharmacist. My only recommendation is to find somewhere else to take your business. Nothing is worth going here for.Original post 11/15/22I am appalled by the treatment I received by pharmacist Ashraf Abdelkhalik (registration number 622654) tonight where he treated me and addressed my medical concerns by indicating my medication and health condition was not important and spent continuous time blaming me for a shoppers error to the point I had a panic attack.I have continuously used the online prescription refill tool of Shoppers with only a few issues over the years. Tonight I came in to check on a prescription that I requested a refill on a few days ago. There was evidently an issue with the software because they did not receive the refill request. I was directed by a pharmacy assistant (who was lovely) to chat with the pharmacist about getting part of my prescription while we wait for a new prescription from my doctor - I have been on this medication for a chronic condition for 6 years and it is not a controlled drug. The pharmacist was incredibly disrespectful to me from the start

Somehow Google Map could not pinpoint this location but I am glad I found them. The store is nice and big, and they have every sales item that was listed on their flyers. I got what I needed easily and the staff here are all very nice. Quite a few shoppers but enough staff members at the cash to complete out purchases without any fuss.This is one of the better SDMs I've visited in the KW-Guelph area I've visited in the past year. Big, bright, well stocked, clean, plenty of parking, nice and helpful staff, good opening hours and close to other shops for convenience. Excellent location.

Stay the hell away from shopper's drug mart @ scottsdale!!! They are absolutely horrible, the pharmacy team lies about everything from getting faxed over prescriptions from doctors offices to making up blatant lies about the prescriptions legibility.In regards to compounding (but mostly about antibiotics prescriptions) The pharmaceutical team is rude and most of the time will NOT GO OVER IMPORTANT medicines with you with the actual head pharmacist, she makes the technicians do everything because she's to lazy and miserable to do it herself and if you disagree with her or ask too many questions to ensure you safety she will treat you like sh%t.Also the purple haired lady that works there is absolutely incorrect about where a prescription needs to come from legally .

Why are SDM ‘s still in business? Reading reviews are unbelievable, and the head honchos seem to ignore the issues. Shop elsewhere !!

Pharmacy staff is either under trained or under staffed or both. Telephone system is ridiculous, pharmacy feels predatory with fees, pharmacy staff will outright lie about drug availability elsewhere, will replace drug formulations (not just to generics) without patient consent, always a long wait to talk to pharmacist or even pick up. Go elsewhere. Even if it seems convenient, it’s worth a drive somewhere else.

Every time I call this specific Shoppers I often wonder if I am calling a house or a business. You’d think in 2023 they’d have a more up to date phone call system than one that says ‘the customer you’re trying to dial is not available, please try again later.” What a joke for a health establishment!

I was there to purchase just one retail item. The one open cashier was doing some form of discount by hand on a form and she just tried to push us to the self check-out. I never use them, and waited about 10 minutes to check out. She didn't call for back-up or apologize. Extremely rude and lacked any idea of customer service empathy regarding the fact that a lot of people hate self check-outs.

They are racist workers. I am an African American man and I came shopping and I finished and left. The white last ahead of me beeped and the lady chose to stop me. Even though the security had already stopped the actual lady that beeped. Stop racial profiling people

Please DO NOT buy gift cards from this location. I bought two $50 gift cards and they were faulty. After sending all requested documentation/proof to them on October 26th, I'm still trying to get an answer from head office. It appears that they have no intention of talking to me or reimbursing me for the $100 I lost. Shameful!

I have never been able to just go in and pick up a prescription without an issue. Either I get my prescription partially filled and told to come back the next day for the rest (with no advance notice), or am told it is ready only to have to wait another 15-20 minutes upon arrival. I've started to call in advance to make sure my medications are ready before I drive down, until this time when I got there was told it was filled at another pharmacy (which I had called in advance to make sure wasn't the case). Completely disorganized and will be transferring back to Costco.
