Eggette House

We tried the Portuguese Egg Tart Bubble Waffle at Eggette House in Richmond and I'm completely in love with it now. Unlike any other bubble waffle I've tried. It's the best bubble waffle I've ever had. Warm and crispy on the outside; each bubble is filled with a soft, Portuguese Egg Tart custard. Sharing is highly recommended as the custard part of it makes it more filling than your average Bubble Waffle. If you like bubble waffles and egg tarts, then this is an absolute Must try"!They also had these interesting looking things called Bean cubes which I might wanna try some other time

Mid at best. 30 minute wait. Not as yummy as it smells.If you do end up going the Portuguese egg tart is the “best” thing on the menu but even that is pretty midI’ll get regular Portuguese egg tarts elsewhere

First time visiting Eggette and it wasn't too bad. Had an Oreo and a banana bubble waffle which didn't take long since we got lucky and arrived when they weren't busy. We heard the wait can get pretty long, about 45 minutes or so, on their busier days.One thing we recommend is getting something to drink with the bubble waffle. After a few bites, our mouths did start to dry out a bit.Friendly staff with reasonable pricing.

I was pleasantly shocked at the quality and taste of these waffles. Being Canto and having eaten HK BB waffles my whole life I’ve never had one as good as their Portuguese egg tart one. Oh my god 10/10

Not the same company as 'Eggette Hut' in Toronto. Texture is great. Taste is 4/5 for me. Not as sweet. The banana one almost seemed like candied banana. Still would go in a pinch though. Great price!

I had the bubble waffle and 7 of the cubes. The bubble waffle wasn't too sweet and had a strong custard flavour. It was nice and crispy but tasted a bit too much of either baking soda or baking powder. As for the cubes my favourite was the black rice with pork floss and egg yolk because it was an interesting flavour even though it didn't have enough egg yolk. I also liked the black sesame mochi because the black sesame flavour was really strong. The other flavours were pretty standard. The fillings weren't overly sweet and you can tell they use a lot of good ingredients. Overall I wouldn't get these again as they can be quite pricey but definitely worth at least one try.Tip: buy 6 cubes and get 1 free. They take the priciest one as the free one

Tasty and pleasantly surprised by the sparkling drinks. Sorta like exotic flavoured Italian sodas but nicer. I like the extra touches, real fruit and petals. Not only does the drink taste nice but it's also pretty. I feel like I got good value. Oreo bubble waffle: well made, nice and crispy.

Their milk tea is a must-try. I've already seen on TikTok how many people rave about their house milk tea so I had to give it a try. The taste is so rich and for someone who loves sweets, I didn't even have to add sugar into it! To add to that, the chestnut bubble waffle's sweetness balances the milk tea out perfectly. It's a combination you shouldn't pass out on! There are plenty of bubble waffle flavours to choose from, and I think it's hard to go wrong with any flavour. Their bean cubes are very dense and packed with filling. We got the purple yam and the matcha red bean one, and they were both so filling! They weren't too sweet which didn't bother me at all, because all the flavour was still there. And of course, the designs are so cute!

The Portuguese egg tart bubble waffle was great. Crispy on the outside and on bubbles with the perfect ratio was creamy on the inside. Hard to make every bite even though. The milk tea had a great balance of flavors as well. The bean cubes were interesting. Overall enjoyed a lot but one thing is I found all the flavors to be very mild; I wish I got more chocolate from the cube and a little stronger egg tart intensity from the bubble waffle.
