The best room I stayed in! The bath in the corner was to die for, the room was adorable and spacious. The whole hotel smelled really good also. Oh! And the location is so great, you have this gorgeous view of the Château Frontenac which is even more beautiful at night. Special mention to the lady at the desk who gave us the exact room we wanted. Defnitely recommend this place!

It was a nice experience to stay at this hotel with family. Location is top class and all attractions in old Quebec are at a walking distance from here. Hotel was nice, cozy, clean and support staff were very helpful. They accomodated an early check in and parking was also provided in the premises. Kitchenette was also very useful.

Reception is good. you will get parking for extra $, right next to the building. Guess you get what you paid for. this hotel is the economical at excellent location. right opposite to the castle and 10 steps away to river viewing point, rope way.

Very friendly reception and quite room, you can see and feel how old the building is but that's part of the charm.

We have stayed at Manoir Sur Le Cap a few times now and love its site in the vieille ville. Room 56 is spacious and comfortable although the bathroom is very small, the shower is a decent size. The addition of a ceiling fan is great when you need to escape the heat of the afternoon and rest your feet for those long evening walks. There are few amenities but balanced with the location, the Manoir is clean, comfortable and welcoming - excellent value for money.

Location was perfect for us in mid-March, across a park from Chateau Frontenac and close to everything. Maria was a great resource and fun to talk with. Hotel is clean and orderly, rooms are homey, nothing fancy, but what you need- exactly a 3 star place. Plenty of heat- we turned off one radiator. Beds were comfy, bathrooms are tiny as expected. Noise travels a bit through the rooms (doors of our rooms did not quite fit the frame), but it's an adult clientele and quiet enough. Offsite parking is close and very reasonable. We would absolutely stay at Manoir Sur Le Cap again.

While the location is ideal for exploring the city the building is getting a little tired. Charming at first, you then begin to notice the electrical extension cords, the cracked washroom sinks and the black mold in the corner of the shower. The door hardware could also use some updating. The bed was comfortable and everything was clean and smelled fine. The neighbourhood is very quiet. We picked an expensive time to visit, but I am sure if we looked around a bit more we could have found a nicer place.

We picked Manoir Sur Le Cap based on location, price and its uniqueness. We stayed on the top floor in Room 14. The room was nicely decorated and far from the standard hotel chain you would normally see. We had a beautiful view of the Frontenac, and it was close enough to walk to all the places we had planned to visit during our trip. The stairs are a little uneven, but likely due to the age of the building. It can be a little hard on those with knee problems after walking through the streets of Old Quebec. Like most places, pillows are not great, so if comfy pillows as a must, bring your own. As stated on the website, there isn't any overnight staff. For us, we knew this before arrival and didn't mind the intimacy this had on the overall stay. The only puzzling thing is the check in. The website states that check in at 4 PM. Hotel staff will ask you when you will arrive, which is fine, but sometimes delays happen. I emailed the hotel the morning of our arrival that we may be delayed for another 45 minutes. Staff promptly emailed me back with a lock code number to retrieve my keys (which was fine) but told me that there was no staff after 12:30 PM because it was a slow day. I think the hotel should advise on their website that they will email you the code if there is a chance no one will be at the front desk at the stated check in time, or the time you have indicated you will arrive by. I am glad I had gotten the code, but wondered if I had gotten it if I hadn't emailed. All in all, we would absolutely still recommend this hotel to anyone who is visiting Old Quebec for the first time to really feeling immersed in the experience of being on one of Canada's oldest cities.

Spent 3 nights, 4 days as a mom and daughter holiday. Overall we were in love with the 'condo'. For a less active or limited mobile person, the number of stairs are quite a lot. I say this, as a heads up, no complaining. It is a beautiful residence. The staff were very attentive to our needs. Enjoy your stay, we loved it :)

Great for short stay; walls a bit thin so you can hear your neighbors. Location is great too; close to riverMa chambre était bien rangée.
