Long overdue review. Dave and Craig did a phenomenal job at our place renovating both our kitchen and bathroom with new tile. The work was very professionally done and still looks great almost 2 years later. During the project Dave communicated clearly, was always on time and met the many requirements of our strata including providing insurance and proof of his various certifications. Dave was professional, always on time, and the quality of his work is fantastic. We are a 147 unit strata condo that needed all of our foyer grouting removed and replaced with an epoxy grouting that is much more resistant to staining. We reached out to D M Stone and Tile and received an answer back from the owner Dave the very same day and was came to our building the very next day, inspected the scope of work that needed to be done, provided the quote on site and gave us a date to commence work, once approved. The workers were great, kept the area clean, cleaned up at night, did and excellent job and everyone loves the work that they did. Would highly recommend and we will use their services again. We engaged Dave to renovate our existing hearth extension and he did so with great results. From the start, Dave was a pleasure to work with. Daves friendly and honest demeanour, workmanship, attention to detail and focus on a clean job site are qualities that will keep us going back to him for future projects and refer him to our friends. Our project was more than a tile job as the existing hearth extension required preparation and levelling so that the new tile would sit flush with our floor. Dave and his crew did an amazing job installing stone tile for our fireplace, and I would use this business again for future projects.What I liked:- The quality of the work was very high, the finished product is astounding.- Dave came by several times to consult on the remodel. This was our first tile project and Dave made sure we were on the same page for every detail. Without his help we would have had a much tougher time getting the fireplace ready for the new stone.- The team worked very efficiently and kept our apartment neat. The entire job was done in a day.Notes for future customers:- We bought the stone ourselves, and did the demo/prep on the wall before Dave started. This is the way to go if you have a small 1-room project, and want to keep costs down.- Scheduling. Dave fit us in-between other larger jobs that he had. It helped to check-in with Dave often, and stay flexible on dates.

Dave worked on our duplex in Vancouver installing tile in our bathrooms (showers and flooring), tile in the kitchens (flooring and backsplash), as well as tiling our fireplace accent wall. Coulnd't be happier with the quality of work and the attention to detail. With his help, we definitely avoided some less than ideal construction quality in some areas which would have led to problems if left alone.
