Love China Star, food is always hot, fast, and delicious! We love having such a great local place to grab take out after a busy work day or when we want a lazy night at home! Staff are always friendly and kind! Our favorite are the meat eggrolls, Cantonese chow mein and the Soo Guy.

This was the most tasteless Chinese food I’ve ever had. Sure, the portions were large but the food was worthless. We ordered spicy, but there was no spice in addition to no flavor. Don’t waste your time going here.

Stopped here one night while I was in fall river and couldn't have been more impressed. The food was hot, fresh, and delicious. The staff was friendly and personable. If you live in Halifax, this place is worth the drive.

Overall recommended.The menu was fairly diverse. We ordered 2 combos and 1 hot and sour soup.The fried rice in the combo was well cooked, good chicken to rice ratio and a nice taste of soy sauce, basic but good.The chicken in both dishes were prepared differently where I had a deep fried and wife had a stir fry. Both were good, chicken was always cooked and tender. Sauces in both had flavor and overall went well with the chicken although mine was a bit salty. Some may prefer it.The hot and sour soup was the star though. A pretty good serving size for the price it was done very well. Bit of BBQ pork in it with some egg drop. Perfect.Price was also very agreeable here the combos for lunch were really good value and the soup was an overall good price.Decor is new and front of the restaurant has a big blown up menu for take out ordering. Seating is sufficient for the size and parking was easy.Staff were nice and service was fast!Next time we are by the area we'll go again!

Wow. One of the best Singapore style fried vermicelli I have had. The hot and sour soup is also very good.Big portions and very reasonable prices.10mins from Halifax airport hotels.This is gonna be my go-to place from now on whenever flying out of Halifax!

My husband and I agree that it's the best chinese food we have had. It wasn't dried out, all the food was very moist and tasty - lots of flavor.

Little place with outstanding food, particularly if you enjoy some of the more authentic Chine dishes. I love my normal place 9+Nine, but the Shanghai noodles here are even better.

The General Gao Spicy chicken is top-notch. Best I've had in the area of Lower Sackville/Bedford/Fall River. Just the right amount of spiciness and the carrots, onions and green pepper make it lovely. I will definitely be back for more of this!
