I called for an apointment for tire change in october for a RDV in late november. The person at the desk made a mistake and booked me in october; then called me to say that there would be charges for not showing up despite the mistake they made. I reiterate that my apointment was in late november with a specific time.For some reasons, I felt I had to call in to confirm my apointment with the time. But again, the same person at the front desk told me that I needed to leave the car despite knowing that my reservation was booked. He started insisting that I leave the car although I could not. Having asked to speak to the manager, this guy came up and told me: I am not going to fight with a customer. You can either leave the car or take back your tires and go to some other mechanic". I took the second offer and decide to write this review after I took my tires back.The front desk staff was incompetent: Despite the mistake

Avoid this place like the plague. They fraudulently ripped me off on a pretense that my 1 yr old car battery was no good and needs to be replaced. They fabricated a false scan/diagnostic report of my 1 yr old battery and charged me $ 114.00 for this fabricated lie. After the dust settled, I had to pay them $396.69 taxes in for a new battery that wasn't needed in the first place. When I took my 1 yr old battery to 2 separate independent garages to get retested, this so called defective battery" came back positive and healthy in both tests (see below) . I have documented proof and pics to back up all my claim. What do they have? Just their words."

Lots of hidden fees when you look at your bill for tires and oil change. Charging 50 cents per bag while there were extra bags in my car without asking. The owner will call you and tell you problems they find in your car and scares you that it is about your safety. After rejecting those extra repairs, the enthusiasm is far gone. When the car is ready and I try probing about those mentioned issues, they don't seem to be as urgent as they were brought up during the first call. I highly do not recommend this place, lack of honesty. Can easily find a better service anywhere else!

Great service. Went for an inspection, and they explained everything required very well. I am very happy with the results and costs and the great customer service. It's hard to find a good mechanic shop these days and I felt very glad with the whole experience.

This is a disgusting job that was done on my car recently. For the price I pay i was hoping for a better quality job but honestly this isnt acceptable at all. I am very didsapoinyed in how the services is offered this isnt at all customer satisfaction. I didnt see this till i had the car in the air today im going to change this cause it is now ruined my oem resonator. It looks like a handymans work and im not having it one bit horrible discusting and insulting towards a client.It was a rip off. I dont suggest going here to get your exhaust worked on. Unacceptable. I hope the workers and the manager and the bosses and owners of mr. muffler on jean talon see this and do something about it and get back to me.

Amazing,Me and my friend called them to get an estimation for his muffler and we were told that they couldn't provide an estimation without seeing the car, and during the conversation he hung up on us while we were still talking to him... outstanding customer service.. very respectful.

Avoid this place! Those guys are after your pocket. They gave me a quote (not free;they charge $25 just for quote) that was way in excess of what I got from other muffler repairers. Those guys will tell you they can't wed on rust" and will want you to change the entire exhaust system just because of one faulty section. Maybe they resell the still functioning parts in a secondary market. I went to another exhaust repair place and they had no problem wedding "on rust ". Very dishonest guy . Even from the way he talks you can tell money is his first priority in life. Run from him! Not recommended at all."

beware!. They suggest you something to change and if you refuse they suddenly change behavior. They charged me 40$ per brakes to grease them because obviously if i don't do it on the spot it could be dangerous? really? i never done it before and never had any problems. Hidden fees, they charged me for the bags, i mean really?????Avoid them.

I had a very urgent issue with my car and went to Mr.Muffler on Jean-Talon. Their amazing team managed to fix everything within the same day, while all other garages nearby needed at least 2-3 days. Great customer service, I'd totally recommend it to anyone!!
