The Bagel Run

Ordered a Breakfast Sandwich and Smoked Meat Sandwich. Only reason I caught what happened was because they were laughing hysterically which caught my attention; So I watched the rest of the assembly.One worker assembled all the ingredients onto one sandwich and when they noticed they just moved the ingredients over and made a new bagel with the same ingredients. I have an allergy to beef and this could have been a severe mistake. I prompted them and they made new eggs (only eggs). Which is when I realized they microwave everything...I Take it anyways because I made the decision to eat here so I open it and it is a mangled mess because of all of the handling and re-handling. The eggs weren't cooked all the way through and looked like 3/4 scrambled.Bagel was decent but only had three options of plain, sesame or everything, so there's that.For the price-point you are paying, that is disgusting...

Decided to try this bagel shop today. I was pleasantly surprised to find a picture menu on the wall. Great idea ! I got a vegetarian bagel. The bagel itself was small but lots of flavor. I got the onion bagel with bacon chive cream cheese. The cream cheese was super delicious and lettuce,tomato and cucumber was fresh ! The reason why i gave 3 stars is the staff! I had a young woman who barely spoke to me when i walked in, no smile. When i was trying to decide which cream cheese to choose she just pointed at a sign. No suggestions, no words . Then she took about 10minutes to toast the bag. Bagel turned out a little burnt for my taste. When i paid, again, no smile, no goodbyes.Hopefully when i come back, there will be another staff member.

I grew up on Montreal bagels, and this place brings me back to my childhood. I don't live close by, but I have family that do. Every time I visit I always buy enough to last me through the next week. My kids devour them. I have only tried their house made herb and garlic, it's delicious.

I ordered the everything bagel with the garlic&herb cream cheese, and the poppy bagel with smoked salmon, they were both amazing I would definitely redo! 100% recommend! It’s delicious and client experience was excellent!

Atrociously slow service, messy store, expensive. The Bagel Run used to be the go-to place for bagels in Orleans. When I visited, the store look disheveled. The store was poorly lit and the menu was out of sight on a side wall where it was more visible to staff rather than customers. I came in just before lunch and waited 10 minutes after ordering for a toasted bagel with cream cheese. The service was slow despite being one of two customers and the bagel was $5.50. In addition the storefront had not been cleaned with used containers and napkins at the sitting spots. Seriously disappointing.

Best bagels in Ottawa!Baked in the store in a wood-fired oven. Lots of flavours to choose from with fresh ingredients. Staff is amazing. I will be back

Huge fan of their store-made cream cheese, especially the herb & garlic! Simply delicious! And it's a nice touch that they included a branded cream cheese with every half dozen bagels. Mornings tend to be busy so I prefer going in the afternoon when I can!
