This is a great grocery store and exactly located where you need it. No need to drive to larger grocery stores that are farther away. They have a good selection of everything that you need. It's ideal location means you don't have to do the shopping once per week. You can visit multiple times in the week. Friendly, efficient staff who are eager to help. Support your local grocer! I was trying to return some items and was very aggressively faced with a manager who was quick to say I am attacking his character by attempting to return items.Just tell me plainly that these goods cannot be returned, patiently go through the return policy with me and that can be the end of it.If this is the attitude of service to be received at the store, I would not recommend coming here.

I was at the store today, Saturday, June 24th. When I had to cash out between 4 and 5 pm; The bleach blonde (really bad looking bleach blonde hair), middle-aged woman at the cash , in the lottery area, was rude and short with me. I’ve been coming here for years and the cashiers have always been friendly and polite. I hope the store doesn’t continue hiring these crass types out of desperation. If you can’t even be a good cashier; What can you do? It’s an easy enough job if you’re not a jerk. This kind of attitude reduces the quality of the experience at the store.

We were here 1 hour until store close. The girl was throwing bread into trash. I asked her to better give it to us. She said it doesn't work this way". They will literally destroy the bread just not to give it away."

On smaller side , but nice variety for community grocery store. Baked in store , had nice things. Produce usually looks fresh .Always pan handlers outside, find alot of items to be higher priced then other places, usually busy and not enough staff on cash.

Used to love coming here for the convenience, but had a terrible experience with customer service. My friend I was with bought an item that rang up as $1.50, she paid for it and put it in my backpack. I thought that it was a good price so I went to the isle to pick one up myself, by then they had figured out that the price was wrong and it was actually$8. I said ok, no problem, don't need it, thanks, and tried to leave. They then proceeded to make me pay for the difference in price that my FRIEND had bought! They said I can either pay the difference or put the item back! They called the manager over and he said the same thing! I was so confused that I just ended up paying for the rest of my friend's purchase (she had left the store by now) and got out of there, but looking back it was totally the cashiers fault! I should have told them to call the cops if they wanted and not paid, but in the end I'm just left with a terrible taste in my mouth and will probably never return. I'd advise people to avoid, but if you have to shop here, double check everything and don't trust them for a second. A business who cares this little about their customers is bound to try to screw you in some way or another. Other reviewers have talked about being sold spoiled meat so.....

Over priced, to small for carts and the staff are not great. I have been going there when it was IGA, now those were the days when it was good. Now not so much

I use this store mostly for convenience. They have specialty items that I sometimes can't get elsewhere. Or if I need that one ingredient when the other shops are closed.It's clean, the produce is well stocked and maintained and the fresh baked goods are a great treat. The prices are reflected in all of the above.I am making this review because their cashier was so friendly on our last visit, my partner couldn't get over it. She talked about them for 5 minutes, easily.

Every week I buy meat here. Specially ground beef all different types. I even get down on the floor looking for a date two days away!! But the meat is still BROWN. They are hiding bad meat with the good meat. This has happened over 20+ times. I’m now in the works of reporting this matter further. I don’t wanna hear any more excuses

One of your employees at the Danforth location in Toronto Insulted me, and embarrassed me in front of a bunch of people. Accused me of stealing in line and when Found out I wasn't walked away. I told hi..just because I'm heavily tattooed doesn't mean I'm a crimnal. Now he's banned me from your store. Good. I don't want to support a prejudice company. You lost a regular customer.
