I'm new to Guelph and reached out to NDL to change my front yard to something that is low maintenance. Out of all the places that I reached out, NDL (specifically Matt) was very responsive to my queries and transparent with project plan/cost. This project was done over 48 hours and Matt came by to answer my questions on how to take care of my new amazing front yard. I would highly recommend NDL, as they excel in what customer service looks like in this industry. I have lived all over Southern Ontario, and have to say that I was most impressed by the authenticity and customer service by NDL.

Naturally Defined Landscapes built me a large interlocking patio, a privacy screen and fenced in my yard. I was so happy working with Naturally Defined Landscapes. They got the job done quick and it looks amazing. They were so professional and meticulous about the little details. They were also very patient with me during the planing process. From initial discussion through final clean up Matt and Mitch of NDL landscaping were professional, on schedule, on budget and meeting all of our expectations. NDL recently installed a small walkway for me, and I was extremely happy with end result! From the very beginning, Matt was super responsive and always answered my questions right away. His team was very friendly, efficient and organized. They did a fantastic job. I would highly recommend them.

We had originally hired NDL to do our previous house's backyard. We agreed on the design and were set to begin in the spring. Long story short but plans changed. I called Matt and let him know that we had sold the house but asked if we could move the project funds to our new house that we were building to which he said no problem. Phase 1 was just completed which was an awesome 6' wide walkway, and some front plantings. They encountered some issues with our land and were more than fair about replacing the materials that wouldn't work for our project with more suitable materials at a very minimal cost difference given the work involved to remove / replace. Matt was always in communication with me and was never in the dark. Not sure how anyone could give these guys a bad review as the work is top notch and they are very personable. Will be using them again for the upcoming phases in the near future. See their work for reference.

After much deliberation, we decided to choose Naturally Defined Landscapes to complete our landscaping project at the front of our home. Matt was very responsive during the quote phase and answered all of our questions promptly and with great detail. I would say that our project is mid size. We resurfaced our 120 sq foot porch with stone and added an interlock walkway with garden out front. Between Mitch and Matt completing the work, the project took less than a week and a half to complete. They were very efficient and skilled every step of the way. I am pretty apprehensive with contractors in general, but after day one, these guys gained my trust. I could not ask for a better experience and we are already talking about booking them for more work next year. 5+ star rating from us! Thanks Mitch and Matt.

Would highly recommend this company to anybody. We hired them to do our backyard with pavers as well as a slightly raised garden. They were very professional and friendly to deal with through the entire process. Have already started planning the front yard with them for the spring!
