Amazing front desk staff always so helpful with booking around my work and getting me in an emergency!The dentist are also so great they help with keeping me calm and letting me know the dental plan and working with me to plan and fix my teeth they have done Amazing work !

This review is a few months after my treatment so there is no emotional outpour or ill will. I am simply reviewing what happened and how it changed my life.I was left with a significant gap between two teeth that never existed before. I now carry a floss stick as I need it after every meal.There are two ways to look at this. I now have to floss after every meal. Bonus. However, I always have to clear that space left behind due to poor dentistry.Like most Canadians, I have been to a dentist my whole life. Only once have I had to return for follow up service to fix something that didn't feel right.Additionally, you can opt for an IV which essentially puts you to sleep while they work on you. I accepted and I was billed six hundred dollars for this and I needed help getting into a vehicle when I left.Yes, I should have returned as I was also left with sharp edges on a couple other teeth. I just didn't feel comfortable going back for obvious reasons.

I took my mom to Dr. Thakkar and his team after my experience of some amazing results on small difficult area fillings at this clinic. The reception was very friendly and helpful booking us in the earliest possible slot; Dr. Thakkar took his time to listen to my mom’s concerns and explained to us his treatment plan with clarity and considerations on different aspects. I’m a new patient here switching over from an established dental chain. Moss street dental is far and away the better choice. They are thorough, knowledgeable and did an incredible job with my cleaning and fillings. Best of all, they are not calling you every week to rebook your appointments like the bigger establishments. Moss street dental has the family run old school feel that you want in a dentistry. I just moved to Langford and but I’ll still keep my business with Moss streets, it’s tough to find places like this these days.

Originally I praised this office for treating me with respect and dignity however on subsequent visits to have work done my experience left a lot to be desired. Never before have I experienced pain while having work done yet on 2 back to back visits I cried out as first a tooth that was extremely painful, was not numbed while initially trying to extract. I can excuse this as my own failure to respond to the freezing in typical fashion. After more freezing was added the procedure was successful with no additional pain. The next visit however I was 10 minutes late due to road closures and I believe that made Dr Thacker impatient so he inserted the needle into the roof of my mouth with such force and speed I again cried out. On both occasions he reacted with anger. How dare I react to severe pain as it may inconvenience him! I will not return. Although I'm sure my experience is unusual it's the reaction of anger that made me certain I could not return for another visit.

I found this clinic in particular to be very honest and thorough. At my previous dentist I felt that I wasn't getting the care I needed but was constantly being upsold on procedures that came with fear mongering. I didn't feel any of this at Moss St, they were realistic, considerate, and not sales driven at all. I'm never leaving them

Dr. Thakkar and his team are lovely to work with. They make sure to go over all aspects of treatment, go over any question or concerns, and just make the dentist visit a comfortable calm experience. Highly recommend!
