This place is awesome. The barbers are very friendly and knowledgeable. I always come away from a haircut very pleased with how they do. Even when I have switched to a differant style and showed them a picture of the cut I would like they always get it right. I definatly recommend them. They are the best

I have visited Jake's barber shop several times and I have to say I was thoroughly impressed with my experience. The staff are all friendly and welcoming. Jake himself did an excellent job on my haircut - he was attentive to detail and took the time to ensure that I was completely satisfied with the final result. Overall, I would highly recommend Jake's barber shop to any guy needing a good haircut in the park rapids area!

My son and I had our hair cut here while we were on vacation. Jake is friendly, makes good and appropriate conversation, and did a great job. I would come back here every month if it wasn't a 5 hour round trip for us.

I remember the experience I've had with more than a dozen of the barber shops I've visited, and this is right now the best. I've had consistently good haircuts in every chair; and the atmosphere is also very pleasant. It seems they manage the current scheduling situation quite effectively, so in and out time is great.

Jake's Barbershop
Jake's Barbershop is a staple of Park Rapids. Jake shares excellent stories and local news to pass the time. The frienldy experience of sitting in his barber chair is enjoyable, and I have always received great haircuts. Just remember Jake's is closed Sunday and Monday, and call ahead as he is scheduled by appointment only.

My elderly bachelor uncle really needed some cleaning up and I was only in town for a couple of days. Fred took some time off his lunch break to fit him in and did a great job with compassion.

They close at noon on Saturday so be there before hand! There are plenty of people wanting to get there haircut so you'll be in line for a bit. Great haircut and a great personality. I didn't even tell him what I wanted done with my hair, but he did it perfectly!
