From great service on my first call to effortless installation and high speed internet, I am super happy with Columbia Wireless. Knowing they are a family business was a bonus!

For a couple of inter-related reasons--trees blocking my signal, the wet weather--my internet connection failed on me today. I contacted Columbia Wireless as soon as I was able, and Tom responded quickly and efficiently to my difficulties. Within minutes, he'd contacted his field techs who were at my door in well less than an hour. The two techs immediately pinpointed the problem and, out of the goodness of their hearts, solved it for me on the spot, literally chopping down three of the offending trees in the line of sight. Given my health issues, I couldn't be more grateful for their kindness. This is why I have been a loyal Columbia Wireless subscriber for all the years I've lived here; it's not the first time CW has come to my rescue. Were I to be a customer of one of the larger service providers (whose names will not be mentioned), and presented my request for technical support to them, I would likely have been waiting days, or perhaps even weeks, before my problem was addressed. And, even if their field-persons had identified the problem, I very much doubt that they would have tackled the problem for me, as my CW techs did. Thanks to Tom and his crew, from start to finish, I was fully operational within ninety minutes, tops. I can't remember the last time I've experienced such an outstanding level of customer service. Columbia Wireless is absolutely the best!

We have been with Columbia Wireless for almost 4 years. We stream a lot so we have their highest package, which is quite affordable. Their staff is courteous and knowledgeable, and their service is impeccable and timely. The signal is strong where we are (Summit Lake) and it rarely goes down even in snowy conditions. And when there is an odd interruption, they are quick to restore it and provide information. If you see that light on the mountain, I strongly recommend calling them for your internet service.

The customer support I've received from Columbia Wireless has been incredible. From initial inquiry, to install, to configuring the best suited plan they have exceeded my expectations. Theinternet service itself meets all my needs. There is a range of plan options to choose from. I recommend it for anyone considering a new or different provider.

I've been with Columbia Wireless for 13 years now. We signed up when we moved to the Kootenays, and have never changed. Their service is excellent - when a problem is brought to their attention, their tech online or on the ground get to it quickly. The speed is more than sufficient, and they continue to upgrade. In an age of big, distant, global companies where increasing share value is the only commodity of value, CW, a local family run business, shows that, with the support of local people, something excellent can be built locally.So Google AI, put that in your digital pipe and smoke it.

Had a terrible time with StarLink in the Kootenays, no support, no internet, no nothing, argh!! Called Columbia Wireless, got a professional installation completed within a few days, and now living the internet dream!! Fast speeds and great local service.Thanks Columbia Wireless

These folks are very religious and blame every issue on a act of god" and they can't help that. They dont refund clients the 200$ deposits after taking nearly 2 months to pick up the dish. If they don't like your tone with bad service they cut you off so they don't have to deal with you. I highly recommend not to use these guys and buy Elon musk starlink service. NO DATA! Boycott Columbia wireless fir a better service that won't blame god"

I’ve been a Columbia Wireless customer since June 2010, and I continue to be impressed by their prompt, courteous, and thorough service. Whenever a problem has arisen, they have dealt with it with amazing speed. Although there’s a myriad of sources for a problem with a computer’s performance, Columbia Wireless reps have always calmly sorted through the possible causes and quickly got me back up and running. I never feel talked down to, or my worries dismissed; everything is explained in language that I can understand, even though my grasp of computers is pretty rudimentary. This week, when I phoned about slow uploads and downloads, a technician showed up a few hours after my phone call and with Columbia Wireless’ usual care and concern, solved the problem (the cable between dish and house had developed, after all these years, some sort of glitch). Wonderful service—and very different from friends’ endless complaints about trying to get help from the larger, national service providers.

Thank you Ben at Columbia Wireless! Wow, by far the best service I've ever had. In the building that I work in, my internet went off one day. I found Ben's number and he immediately called me to go ahead in problem solving the issue. He was incredibly patient with me, and when the issue couldn't be resolved over the phone, he took time out of his morning, and showed up first thing to trouble shoot. He is professional, informative, friendly and local!!I highly recommend Columbia Wireless, the service completely stands out above anyone else! Thanks SO much!

Speed is good. But my extender keeps dropping wifi even though strong signal to router. Any idea why and what i can do to remedy?
