Thank you Justin and Chris for been doing the clinic for marathon and half marathon, you teach a lot of strategies and knowledge in the topic, to bad that we aren’t be able to train with you in the future!! You are amazing guys, thank you for everything!!

I've been out of running for years, after some marathon training led to some nasty shin splints and knee injuries. Two kids and a pandemic later, I'm 50 pounds heavier (narrator: it's actually 75) and am feeling the craving to get out on the road again.I'd previously been into the game when all of the low-profile-barefoot hullabaloo was happening, which probably didn't help my already challenged knees and ankles. I knew that with my extra weight, age, and couch-potatoing that I'd need something completely different to both protect my body and make the sport enjoyable. In those younger days, for whatever reason, I'd associated my pain with gain which isn't a view I have anymore after having crossed into middle age.Anyway. Walked into Running Room after all these years and had a just lovely experience there. Justin was friendly and answered all my questions, bringing out the dozen boxes of shoes and sizes that I wanted to try. He didn't push any particular ethos or brand, just genuinely wanting me to find something that would make me happy and work for me. He was the perfect balance of attentive and space-giving, not hovering around me like a sales vulture or standoffish like someone who didn't want to be there.Long story short, I left happy and confident with what I needed, looking forward to hitting the road with my new gear. Planter facitis is a struggle I face in my daily life. The day I picked up my new scooter I noticed when I was jumping off since the board is situated quite high my feet were in quite a bit of pain as I was wearing my Jordan 5s at that timeYou would figure because it's a basketball shoe that it wouldn't hurt but I was wrong since it didn't help defend the pain under my feet.I recently got a scooter to get around the city since my physiotherapist and RMT had advices me not to go to the gym or bicycle for a bit since I had to heal some hamstring and some other new injuries I had succumed to since June and some other Injuries since 2004.So I went home I tried my New Balance walking shoes but the cushion wasn't thick enough and the bottom of my feet where still in pain jumping off my scooter.So I did a little research and found this awesome pair by On Running Brand and found the reviews convinced me enough to hop on my scooter and head down to this awesome store in Denman .I was greeted with such an awesome welcome and the salesman .I feel really bad I forgot his name but he's sooo knowledeable and really took the quality time and care to help me out with my purchase and I had such a fun time as well too!Although I do have a great appreciation of many different brands of running shoes, I can say The Running Room was the best quality service I've ever received from a store selling this type of product..even over Sporting Life where I purchased Y-3 shoes for my son.So if you are a consumer such as myself looking for high quality running shoes for not just your sporting needs but also you're medical needs, I definitely will recommend the Running Room!Top quality service is what you will receive here gaurenteed!Thank you Running Room!!I purchased my shoes here about 1 month ago and since then my feet has been improved with the shock absorbers on these Cloudmonster shoes! After visiting Nike and New Balance up the street, we were at our wit's end as we hadn't been able to find a suitable product and the service we had received at one of the stores wasn't fantastic. As soon as we entered the store, an associate came over and provided outstanding service. He watched my girlfriend walk up and down the store barefeet to analyze her gate and foot positioning and then provided pros and cons for various different products. In the end, he provided a recommendation for a pair of shoes that matched my girlfriend's relative inexperience in running, but were also fashionable enough for her to wear. I would come back in a heartbeat, I just wish the reps wore name tags so I could provide appropriate shoutouts!

Running Room Denman is chock full of enthusiastic and supportive staff - whether you need help getting fitted for a new pair of runners or you're striving to cross the finish line of your first marathon. Justin will always hold a special place in my heart for making the training (and subsequent celebration) of my first marathon so special. RR Denman is one of the pillars in this community that makes me so proud to be a west-ender!

A bit expensive and they had limited options of socks and colours for the runners. Good set of running shoe options though!

Not all shoe stores and Running Rooms are the same. I'm glad I visited this one to seek a new pair of runners for my upcoming marathon as the staff were extremely helpful. They were knowledgeable and attentive without being overbearing, and just generally delightful to speak with. And a special thanks to Matthew in particular for assisting me. I'll be sure to come back here for my next pair of shoes!
