First Posted on Guelph Infiniti March 30: Very disappointed with customer service, and the integrity of the dealership. The vehicle was driven into the dealership to diagnose a timing code issue, car was returned on a tow truck, later finding out that the engine will no longer rotate. Dealership stated they disconnected the battery to prevent any further damage from starting the engine, as the timing was out, and gallery gasket needed replacement.We never started the engine, we tried to manually rotate the crank and found that it would not rotate. The dealership is not taking any responsibility in their diagnosis and events that happened at the dealership. Response to the Better Business Bureau from the dealership did not address the issue either, no dealership accountability shown at all.April 6: The Cylinder Head Bank 2 timing was out by 140 degrees of course the car could not be driven like that, this happened at the dealership during the diagnosis.What did the mechanic do when he cleared all the codes?We have now fixed the timing issue, so that we could rotate the engine without causing any further damage. However, the Bank 2 Cylinder Head is damaged beyond repair. The vehicle was brought into the dealership with a document showing that the compression on all cylinders was between 210-230. My son provided the mechanic with the details of our troubleshooting documented on paper, when he drove the car there.Compression on cylinder 2 is now 80, cylinder 4 is now 100, cylinder 6 is now 150, the valves are all bent on Bank 2. This is why the engine would not rotate manually. No wonder they disconnected the battery and told us to tow the vehicle to prevent further damage.Are you going to continue to deny what happened with this vehicle at your dealership?

I would like to share my experience with Nissan Guelph Service Center. I own a 2022 Nissan Rogue. My first oil change service was due so I called in to book appointment. Appointment were available for after 1 week. I booked a time slot they gave me.I went in, they asked me if I would like to get tire rotation done. I said yes to it ($49 plus taxes). I also had a leak in my cars rear left tire so I asked them to look at it. They informed me there is a nail in it and told me it will be $44 for repair. I said okay. I have platinum coverage which covers me for tire repairs.I informed the service advisor that I have the warranty for tire repair. They said we cannot see it in our system so we will have to charge you for it. You can go to dealership where you got this car from and get your refund. I called my dealership and they confirmed me I should not be charged for this from any Nissan dealership Canada. I called the Guelph Nissan, told them again I shouldn't be charged for tire repair. The comment from service advisor was - YOU SHOULD HAVE TOLD ME THAT YOU HAVE WARRANTY COVERAGE". I told them many times before. They said we will check and let me know. Meanwhile

Nice service. One star off as I expected car wash. I am pleased with service overall. The repairs were complete in 1 hour. I am very pleased with overall quality of Nissan cars and service. The prices are adequate too. In comparison we have Chevrolet Spark and experience is much worse starting from car design and ease of use, etc

Never has a dealership gone above and Beyond like this one has. The girls in the service department remember you and your vehicle and the office manager is always accessible and informative. I never feel like I'm being lied to or led on, they're always honest. I wasn't planning on purchasing a new vehicle for another year or two but I'm seriously considering it in the next few months thanks to the top notch customer service I've received from this place.

Horrendous , Atrocious , Dreadful are just a few words I would use to describe Nissan. I bought a 2021 Kicks last year and no problems what so ever great car. I was then unfortunately t-boned and needed a new car.I returned to Nissan as the car was fine and would love to get the new one. They said all they could get me was the 2022 version. No problem pay a little more and get a nicer vehicle, my only concern was I had just purchased 1300 dollar winter tires on rims for the 2021. I inquired if they would fit the 2022 which I was told yes shouldn’t be a problem at all . Now after being told my car would be delivered in 3-5 weeks I received it after 10 weeks….I get it things happen there is shortages I made due in the mean time. Flash forward I need my winter tires on so I call to make an appointment. I again ask are we sure my winters from 2021 will fit 2022 . Yes I am assured they are but they will check with the service manager. After receiving an email saying yes all good I bring my kicks in for service and to get tires on. Only to be told oh these won’t fit on your new kicks unfortunately sorry about that …..their solution after messing me around was to pay an estimated 600 dollars for new rims that will fit . Great solution Nissan. No sympathy, hardly any apology . I bought this new car on trust they new what they were doing and weren’t just trying to make a sale. I’m now unfortunately stuck with 1300 dollar new tires, a car I won’t be able to drive my young family around in the winter . Thanks Nissan

Quoted for a new rack and pinion.'Please find this email as your preliminary quote for the replacement of the steering rack on your 2011 G37- Rack 49001-1ND1D $1800.00- Installation (4.0) $580.00- Alignment $130.00- Total $2510.00 +HST'Brought the car in ,I was offered a alignment for 130 dollars extra..... I showed him my quote and it was resolved.Had another issue with the car. They called and told me 177.00 to fix the issue parts and labor included . Up charged this by 144.00 for diagnostic. You can keep my 144 dollars but I will tell everyone I know of how you roll. BEWARE of UPCHARGES .... Not a honest way to do business. You will never see my shadow darken your door again!

I made an appointment for a routine service at this dealership. The appointment desk quoted me the price and when I took my vehicle in the price was $ 60 more than quoted. When I questioned why it is more than the quoted price the person was very rude and told me that I can talk to her manager. The manager was even more rude and asked if wanted the service or not. I had a bad experience at this dealership before also. When I took my car in for a 24 month service, they recommended a transmission fluid flush. When I contacted the Nissan Canada they told me the car doesn’t need a transmission fluid flush as it has CVT . This is the worst dealership and will never ever go there anything. Also I called Kitchener Nissan and their price was $70 less than I paid.Also they are recommending next service for oil change in 4000 km. May be Guelph Nissan recommends oil change every 4000 km to rip you off more. Nissan doe not recommend oil change every 4000 km.Rick called me back and without any real apologies. They will not even refund money overcharged. Did not even mention anything about their 4000 km oil change recommendation. Amazing customer service at Guelph Nissan.Actually it was my mistake to go Guelph Nissan.Never ever again they can rip me off.

Addendum to my previous rating of 2/5 stars. Which was due to fairly shabby after sales. Today got a call from my original salesman. A second FOB was provided to me free of charge. Very professional resolution to the original problem. Nice. 5/5 stars.FYI the kona electric is getting over 500km per charge and is a true pleasure to drive. This was my first experience dealing with Nissan and to say I was impressed with the level of customer service would be an understatement.My daughter purchased her first ever brand new vehicle from Guelph Nissan and the process was so streamlined and straightforward. Staff went out of their way to explain the entire process in terms my daughter could understand and didn't move on to the next step until my daughter fully understood. There was absolutely no pressure at any step of the way. GUELPH NISSAN SERVICE WILL RUIN YOUR VEHICLE. I thought the nissan service is the best responsible place to bring my vehicle even though their services are expensive than the other places. I did my regular service and few other services for my nissan rogue from guelph nissan and after couple of days I noticed a continuous and considerable oil leak underneath my engine. Then I checked as I could and i saw the oil filter was completely loose and rotating. THE TECHNICIAN DIDN’T TIGHTEN THE OIL FILTER AT ALL. If I didn’t check it I might have to my replace my whole engine by running without engine oil. I don’t know whether it is already damaged. I will not bring my vehicle there again. BRING YOUR VEHICLE THERE ONLY IF YOU NEED TO DAMAGE AFTER PAYING MORE MONEY.
