Amazing shop with a friendly atmosphere. Jason can probably answer any question you have, and you can tell he really enjoys a good book. Huge selection, and he seems to know right where everything is (although, honestly, you might be hard pressed to find things yourself!)

Stopped by with the intention of finding some new books, and The Book Place far exceeded all of my expectations. I selected 1 book from the front display, and within a few minutes I had 5 books hand-picked by the store owner (all of which were of interest to me and matched the themes" of my initial selection). I will be back again once I've read this batch of books

The Book Place
This is by far my favorite book store. It has a very large selection of books in every genre, and if you can't find what you're looking for Jason will hunt it down for you. The atmosphere is wonderful, with background music and the smells of coffee and books filling the air. It's a great place to find a book, or engage in entertaining discussions with Jason and other patrons. A must visit store when in Kamloops.

I have gone to this store many times and it is by far the best second hand book store I have ever been in. The man who runs it is very knowledgeable and has read a huge portion of the books he sells; his recommendations are made with a high degree of accuracy. He sells all sort of fiction, both old and new. He has a bit of non-fiction, but the little bit that he does get in can be gold. Every inch of the store is covered in books. If you love to read, you should at least check this place out.

I found The Book Place to be unique and quite honestly the owner is knowledgeable and friendly, and passionate about books. The selection is wide ranging and if you can't find the book you want, talk to the owner, or stop in and have a copy and talk literature, you won't be disappointed!

The Book Place is my favourite used book store in Kamloops, British Columbia, or Western Canada to be honest.The selection of Titles and Genres are excellent. I've never left the store without finding something to come home with me... The problem with The Book Place is finding more than I can buy in one visit.I know it sounds over the top, but when you visit the store you will see that I have not exaggerated in the slightest.

The Book Place
It's been awhile since I've walked in to a place and felt magic. This store is full to the ceiling of such a huge selection of books. I had some spare time to kill and thought I'd bring my 4 and 6 year old boys in. The person there, I believe the owner, was super helpful and chatted with my boys. He made good recommendations and we left with a good selection of books and magazines at a great price. I'm looking forward to spending more time searching for treasures there.
