Shops At Waterloo Town Square

Not much going on here?! Basically a Shoppers Drugmart, where i was helped by the most courteous, efficient and helpful salesguy I have ever had the pleasure of meeting. The only other open for business was the Valuemart, where the staff were friendly as well. The down side was the inability to find a washroom open to the public anywhere in the entire mall? Even more disappointing was the fact that I was turned down by both stores to use their facilities and a few others that were technically" not even open? Where's the compassion?"

Very centrally located and has pretty much all the big name stores. Easy to find your way around

While it's a nice place to visit, it's not a place to hangout for long and use your electronic devices at the same time. My laptop battery needed a charge and there was not one charging port anywhere.

This is a pristine clean, prepossessing mall situated at a prime location in Waterloo.The mall is small, and there are not many popular businesses in the enclosed area that would entice a lot of customers.Only two sizable and noticable stores are Shoppers Drug Mart and valu-mart catering to pharmaceutical and grocery needs.When we visited the mall last week, there was hardly anyone there and it appeared as if it were deserted.The mall, however, has well maintained washrooms, spacious corridors to enjoy a walk in an air-conditioned and pollution-free environment, and beautiful beaches should you decide to relax.Had there been some famous clothing stores for all, a food court providing a variety of cuisines, and some shops and areas that amuse children the mall would have been thronged by people.

I shopped at the Independent Grocer there and it was fine, but I prefer the one in my neighbourhood at the Frederick Mall

I went to Beertown after work to have a couple drinks with some wings. Nice location and atmosphere was relaxing, the only complaint I have or question for them is, Why are the lights so dim? When you walk inside the place it's very dark. I need a flashlight to read the menu almost jk but seriously why so dark?

It's been awhile since I last visited Waterloo Town Square (Got a vehicle so stopped taking the bus). BUT I went in here today in search of some disposable aluminum muffin pans, which seem to be as valuable as platinum these days, because no one is carrying them.They have renovated the hallways and it looks impeccable in there, the addition of comfort seatjng is a valuable asset alongside the lounging area which also features tables so you could grab a hot lunch from Valu-Mart's Deli and sit down to enjoy it.It appears they haven't learned their lesson on rental pricing because a good majority of the inside still consists of empty storefronts, stating the obvious, it would be such a huge benefit to them to create a geared-to-profit rental agreement in order to attract more businesses, and of course with more businesses comes more foot traffic so everyone wins.

Can’t talk any smack about the shops at Waterloo town square. There’s a Japanese restaurant that knocks the socks right off of my sister and I’m all in for it. Five stars!
