Cedarvale Park Dogs Off-Leash Area

It's amazing park dogs , you feel the Amazon Atmosphere there , you can enjoy a good view , i recommend

Located near the northern end of a lovely Cedarvale ravine, this off leash romp for dogs of all sizes is very popular for good reason. The fenced in area is expansive with a great hill to lob a ball up. There is a water source for owners and dogs. Much of it is covered in pounded down bark chips to minimize mud.Owners seem.to.be consistently responsible. There is also a huge sloping wide open field that some owners prefer for much smaller dogs. It also is a wonderful workout.See pics but...first time in early Spring 2019.

It's a beautiful park a great place for ur dog to run and play at the dog park but unfortunately there are owners who have not very nice dogs some have attacked my 2 puppies and I've seen other so called Dog Fights please all I ask is if your dog is aggressive or has a bad behavior problem please keep them in check and stop denieing and fooling yourself because my 2 got attacked we thought that we had to give 1 of our dogs away he turned really aggressive ND I had to stop bringing him to that dog park we don't take our 2 dogs to any dog park anymore and thank god his behavior is back to normal so please dog owners keep a vigilant eye on your beloved pets

Lots of deep woods and rolling green hills, feels like running around in a Nintendo 64 level of Mario or Zelda. great place.

Really love bringing my dog here all the time! There’s always lots of pups to play with and it being so spacious really allows them to run around and get all that energy out. My dog KNOWS the drive to Cedarvale and gets excited every time we ask if she wants to go to the park. Lots of dog walkers also choose this park so it’s often busy (especially if you go around lunchtime).The dog park itself is fenced, has a nice shaded seating area in the middle, has 3 entrance points, and a dog fountain! There is also a super nice and scenic park/trail to take your dog on before or after they play at the park!

My dogs didn't play in the fenced dog park because the ground was filled with wood chips.That said, there is plenty of beautiful space outside of the fenced area which we enjoyed. There were also a few walking trails around the fenced area which looked interesting.

Absolutely stunning dog park! There's so much room for our furry fam to run and explore. Of course the snow makes it look like a winter wonderland!

Plenty of space which is mostly composed of cedar chips. Great for wet days. There is a little area with grass which is a hill. In the centre of the park, there is an area to get out of the sun with picnic benches. The park also has a drinking fountain for the pups.

I love this park. Have been coming here since my dog was a puppy. Everytime I say we're going to the park she gets so excited and has the time of her little life!

I actually don't care much for the actual offlead area but i do love Cedarvale and running with the dog. A lot of dog owners treat the entire park like an offlead area. It would be great if the whole park was offlead, as long as the owners were mindful and took responsibility for their dogs, of course
