Caspian Oriental Carpets

Just visited this carpet store recently in Victoria BC and was amazed at how knowledgable the owner was and how helpful him and his staff were. I would definitely recommend this store to my friends and family as the carpets are absolutely beautiful and the prices very reasonable. I learnt alot about carpets from the owner and looking forward to filling up my house with beautiful Persian rugs.

Have been a customer of this carpet store for many years. My collection is fairly extensive and I would be hard pressed to shop anywhere else. As many stars as I can give.

In Victoria there are pretty much two places to buy a top quality hand knotted carpet - here and Jordan's. Take your pick - here the owner is in the store, with 40 years of personal experience travelling to India buying top quality carpets. With lower overheads and the best selection of carpets in stock I found I could buy a better carpet here at a better price, with more informed advice while making my decision. I became a huge fan over the course of several days while my wife tried a succession of seven carpets from Caspian in our living room. All we ever got was patience, understanding and good advice - and eventually a great deal on the perfect carpet for our living room.

I am certainly not an expert, but I have purchased a number of oriental carpets over the past 20 or so years from various dealers. I recently bought two Gabbeh rugs from this store. I am extremely happy with them. I think I got them at a very good and highly competitive price, but more importantly, I have no doubts or concerns about their quality. The selection of carpets at this store is outstanding. I spent hours at other stores and found nothing, however within minutes of entering this store, I found 3 rugs that I really liked. I was allowed to bring all three home to see how they fitted in with the decor.I can not recommend Caspian Oriental Carpets more highly. The owner (Fred) is highly knowledgeable and I like him a lot. The other staff member with whom I interacted was also very helpful and pleasant. Without doubt, this is the best place to buy a carpet from in Victoria.
