Sooke Coastal Plumbing and Gas

My husband set up an appointment for our fire place to be serviced as well as our Gas Range stove. This company never showed up, never called or sent a message to cancel, and did not respond to messages or phone calls from my husband after no showing. We booked this appointment in advance and needed these things serviced. We also waited around for more than half of a day for Sooke Coastal plumbing and gas, which was frustrating and a waste of an entire afternoon.

Excellent professional, highly recommended! Nick made the conversion and connection to the gas in my fireplace and also gave all support needed. Great service, definitely focusing on the customer satisfaction.

We are deep in Metchosin and called because we had an urgent leaking dishwasher. Company was incredibly responsive, came the same day, fixed the problem as well as repaired a bunch of other small issues we had and took care of the emergency. Very professional and highly recommend them. They will be our first call for plumbing.

I had an appointment set up with Nick and even confirmed the same day with him per phonecall. He never showed up. I tried calling him again later that day and he did not answer his phone nor did he get back to me the following days.Just another unreliable tradesperson. Avoid!

They showed up half an hour early and were done in just over 1 hour, including having to drain a 35 year old water tank.Very friendly and pleasant service including my request for them to wear masks.Priced $500 under the other local companies that I got phone quotes from.

Nick Stetler is your man. Don't even bother with a quote or calling anyone else. He is fast, efficient, knowledgeable, friendly, helpful and affordable. He always answers his phone, or at least gets back to you promptly. If he says he'll do it, consider it done. If all tradesman operated the way Nick does, the world would be a better place!

We have used Nick in the past because we like to support local businesses. But ... he let us down completely when we needed him the most. We were away getting emergency medical treatment and needed our gas fireplace fixed to provide heat for our daughter who was looking after our house. Nick agreed to do the job and then did not show up or respond to any of our messages or phonecalls. It was extremely disappointing to learn that this business can't be trusted.

I had a leak in my kitchen, Sooke Coastal Plumbing arrived and fixed it promptly and it was very affordable. Also the owner Nick, super friendly, , knowledgeable, an explained the repair. If you want a professional job, I would not hesitate to recommend Sooke Coastal Plumbing and Gas!!!!!!

Back in August we hired Sooke Coastal to install a regulator and run a propane gas line and hook up our new gas range. Unfortunately, he drilled through our kitchen floor without asking about in-floor heat and drilled through one of the heating wires, rendering the heat useless. At first he was apologetic and helpful, and arranged an electrician to come and take a look and repair the wire. He even came to take up the tile and expose the broken wire. This is the reason for a 2-star instead of a 1-star rating. However, the electrician required more length to work with and after multiple calls and texts to him to come back and expose more wire, I finally gave up and called a tile setter that did work for me before. It seems as soon as he was paid for the job, he decided that his mistake wasn't his problem any longer.After delays due to contractor and parts availability, and at my own expense, here we are on December 22 and it's a Christmas Miracle that our heated floor finally works again.
