Holy Family Hospital

I stayed a month on the rehabilitation program in the aHoly Family Hospital after a stroke treatment in Vancouver General Hospital now I am home and trying to improve And some days i reflect o how extraordinary personal Kindness I met on both places I called the nurses angels ii digise,They created so nurturing and positive flow of working environment I sometimes think. The idea of having a cross-discipline rehab hospital is wonderful; however, the execution of the principles is a bit like a ONE SIZE FITS ALL" clothing. My mom stayed there for 7 weeks and went through an assembly line like rehab process. In her particlar case

Really appreciated holy family team crew to help my dad rehabilitate program. My dad got stroke since last November has been transferred to VGH and UBC for recovery. Those two hospitals not very helpful. Especially UBC, is the worst hospital ever. The last journey of my dad is holy family. He made a huge change in here, all the staff are supportive and friendly, the most important thing is they are all very helpful and patient which is brings out the results my dad can walk again.Big shouted out to :social worker: Kristina, doctor Wong, OT LINDI , physician: ANN and dietitian (I forgot the name) many many of you in holy family. Really appreciated! Thank you so much .

Horribly slow and unorganized ER, waited for over 3 hours when it was slow, no updates, took x rays before even going to a room and still waited another 2 hours. Worse experience I’ve had at a hospital. Big Mistake coming here.

Friendly staffs and facility well maintained. Too bad the gift shop was closed during the pandemic.

I was a patient here in for many weeks in 2022, and owe my life to the amazing team of nurses, care givers, occupational and physiotherapists, support staff, housekeeping, dieticians and kitchen. I can't forget the huge mental and spiritual support provided by the Holy Family Hospital's spiritual coordinator. To adequately review HFH I have to separate the experience I had from the building and it's function. HFH is a rehabilitation facility that support a wide range of persons with disabilities. The goal is to see improvement through intensive therapy, health monitoring, and providing life tools for living with one's disability. They do this well. But like most things in life it is what you put into it that determines what you get out of it. It's a team effort and the patient is at the centre. At least that is how I experienced the many days and weeks at HFH. It changed my life... Thank you Holy Family.

My mother Doris Lavaggi stay there after her knee surgery she was 77 years young and the rehabilitation was great as well as the food she stay there for 45 days Doctors & staff , are very good you can't expect better. we thanks GOD and the Noons who found this place also to people to donate to keep this place going.

Wonderful people, wonderful care. We have been through the worst and are now back with the best.

Nice hospital in a nice environment. Friendly staff. Took great care of a family member for a few months while being rehabilated after an amputation.
