Found everything I needed easily. Good prices, friendly staff. Once all the construction around is completed the plaza itself will be a good shopping experience.

I came in yesterday just for some beans, and on the way to self check out they were giving samples for popcorn. As I was handed the sample over he also gave me a full bag to continue to promote their popcorn station. Really wanted to say thank you, my daughter and I loved the maple cinnamon. Really appreciate your consistent support and genuine work I continue to experience at this save on foods and the one up near Costco. Thanks again.

Love the new Colwood Save-On-Foods! Nicely laid out, well stocked, extremely helpful and pleasant staff. Club priced items really help stretch the shopping dollars. I’ve been fortunate to be in the store at the time bakery staff wheeled a cart full of scrumptious bakery items to choose for FREE as they were nearing Best Buy date. Fabulous perk! Last weekend there was a wonderful musician singing Christmas carols, and the tasting stations throughout the store were amazing. This is my go to store, hands down. Kudos to management and staff for offering an exceptional shopping experience.

only went too the deli and used there dining area to eat lunch and the only constructive criticism I could give them is that the tables were all dirty and the whole 30 min i was there , not one employee even walked past or showed up to clean off the tables and seeing that were living in a pandemic still , I think that should be top priority . Other then that very good customer service and lots of smiles and even the security guard didn’t judge me as i walked in and out the door and most places these days I get looked at like i’m doing something i shouldn’t be when in fact i’m just shopping not stealing or loitering.

New location'a pain.U must get a ticket validating ur presences 'its free but it will take 20 mins to do the run around to get parking ticket...To do BEFORE U SHOP!!!!Easier to shop elsewhere 'orher locations DONT HAVE THIS B.S.WONT BE SHOPPING THERE MUCH

I believe great service deserves recognition and that we don’t do it often enough. However the staff at this location are all fantastic. I absolutely have to mention a fellow named Gerry.. he always has a smile on his face, always positive energy, greets me by name, remembers topics we discussed on previous visits… AND he is the best bagger in the south west!! It really changes the experience when it comes to paying that grocery bill every week as I’m sure we all feel can be tough.. if it’s not to far out of your way, I recommend come to this location and look for Gerry if you want some positivity to take with you for the day. Thanks Gerry, see you next week!

Parking spots are small car only for the majority. Paid parking. Men’s washroom requires a code to get in so you need to track someone down who has it. The women’s does not require a code. Why? I’m sure if the situation was flipped you’d never hear the end of it. Can we get an explanation? Why the paid parking and the door code for men only?

Nice store and great staff but having to pay park or register is a joke in Colwood. It discriminates against seniors and the people with mobility issues having to walk across the parking lot and use the app that doesn't work in parts of the lot especially the underground. All other plazas in the Westshore have free parking and better designed lot. Save On Foods and London Drugs have the ability to change this parking mess and have free parking in the Westshore.

I will no longer be shopping here once paid parking is in effect. What an absolutely ridiculous hassle when there are tons of grocery stores that do not force an unnecessary charge on consumers. Even if it's free" for 90 minutes

Just there. Went to use washroom just inside door on right. Has double paper roll dispenser. Both empty!! Checked inspection sheet on door and apparently just checked 15 minutes before! Needless to say whomever checked did not and fraudulently signed off the sheet. I advised a lady at the Customer Service desk who told me she told her managed a half hour before. Apparently not important to the manager. Would like to hear back from the store owner if they actually care about customers.
