I was in Nanaimo for a couple of days and found the place online. Such a great surprise! The food was delicious, the restaurant is cozy and our server was very friendly. Highly recommend!(As you enter the place you can see it's a small operation so don't expect your food to be ready in 2 minutes and the server to be following up with you every second).

One of my favorite breakfast spots to stop in, I always order the Eggs Benedict anytime I go out for breakfast, and this is definitely one of the best I’ve ever had! The waffles were delicious too, the waitress was super friendly, and the service was prompt. I love their new location, it is super cute and cozy inside!

We stopped in at The Breakfast Nook after a morning hike. We would have passed by this restaurant seeing that it was within a hotel and off the main drag, but picked it given the favourable reviews. We were glad we did. It's a cosy little restaurant with good prices, great food, and friendly service.

Eggs Benedict for me and breakfast hash for hubby. The hollandaise sauce is phenomenal, hubby says it's the best he's ever had.

This place was amazing to say the least food was great, but it was all elevated with our waitress Hannah. She made this from an average review to a 5 star all across. She was so kind and her smile lit up the room. Make sure to come here if you are visiting, as we were pleasantly surprised.

First time to the Breakfast Nook and my family loved it! Huge bowl of delicious fruit was the highlight - it wasn't the typical bagged melon salad, it was full of fresh kiwi, blueberries, raspberries, strawberries and more! Our main meals were also delicious - my only complaint is that the scrambles we're a little on the small side for the price. A few more hashbrowns would have been welcome, even! Excellent service and great coffee as well. My girls are already asking when we can go back!
