I can't speak highly enough about the service this chap gives, good old fashion craftsman with impeccable understanding and respect for the customer. If you have a watch/clock problem use him, he will be honest, try his best and be more than fair in the pricing.

We sent two watches away for service. Both mechanical and both Tissots. Price was agreeable and the timescale of completion was adhered to. I would not hesitate in sending other items in for service.

Mr Swift serviced my grandfather's long-neglected 1960s Corum watch around 7 years ago (it's taken me that long to write a review) and this much later, it's still keeping perfect time. I peeked at the movement for the first time recently, and it was still as clean as a whistle. Very pleased with what must have been a very thorough and careful service, at an extremely reasonable price.

I can't recommend Mr Swift highly enough. I have a small collection of watches and have struggled to find a good watchmaker in the past. The one I have consulted local to me in Essex charges very high prices and turned his nose up at repairing my Russian Vostok Amphibia divers watch.Just a rather snobby, can't be bothered service. I came across Mr Swift on recommendation and sent him the Vostok and a Bulova 23 jewel automatic that needed an overhaul. I had to wait a while to get them back as there is a backlog of work (a good sign to me) but the watches came back performing flawlessly and I can't argue with the very reasonable cost Mr Swift charged. I sent the watches in of course but Mr Swift has been a pleasure to deal with on the phone sometimes joking that I have too many questions but always answering them. I made two attempts to have my wife's Tavannes gold watch repaired by watch repairers/jewellers in my area. One refused to even consider the job, stating that the part was no longer available and the second carried out a very expensive repair which failed within days. Came across Mr Michael Swift when searching the internet. What a revelation! A courteous, prompt and professional service provided by Mr Swift at a very reasonable price. The watch was returned to me and my wife is absolutely delighted. I would highly recommend Mr Michael Swift.
