This was one of the biggest mistakes I've ever made in my life. From the moment you talk to these people, they were incredibly pushy with their sales tactics style and lie about things to get you to sign up. I was told that I would recieve a laptop for class. The laptop didn't come for months after I had already started my course, which put me at a huge disadvantage and caused me to fall behind immediately. The software provided (through aws) was incredibly slow and buggy for everyone, and students were constantly having technical issues. The teachers themselves complained and apologized about the horrendous course curriculum that was embarrassingly put together. Half the time we watched videos pulled from YouTube... I was specifically told by a teacher that it was impossible to teach us what we needed to know in the timeframe given. That was just for Graphic Design....I then switched to 3D Animation, hoping it was just the graphic design course that was having issues. That was absolutely not the case...I never did recieve the laptop for my 3D Animation course, which again left me at a huge disadvantage because I was stuck using an inadequate computer for the class. This was never remedied, and I was only given excuse after excuse as to why I didn't get the laptop.I'm leaving a lot out, but these are just a few of the serious issues I had.Anyone even remotely thinking of attending this so called school"

Overall my experience with VCAD was good. I took the ADT (Architecture Design & Technology) program which was very interesting as I work in the field. If you're taking this program full-time, I would not recommend working full-time too. It takes a lot of time to master the programs and at the end you want to have quality work (designs created in assignments) to use in your portfolio and to present to employers or clients. The course materials could always be better, but the team at VCAD seemed eager to update, so I can see the program getting better and better as they go. E-campus is great for accessing the materials, checking them off as you go and keeping you on track. AWS was just OK for accessing programs, but it should be recommended to access your educational licenses directly from software suppliers at Autodesk, Thimble (sketch-up), or others. Access to Office 365 and Adobe was perfect. There should be an option to opt out of receiving the laptop. Once it showed up, was semi-capable of handling large designs in Revit, and I would have much rather used my own equipment, saved tuition costs, and produced less electronic waste. This may have allowed VCAD to focus on getting laptops quicker to students that actually needed them.Like I say, overall experience was good. Focus on improving content and these online programs will be very beneficial for all. Thank you VCAD for the great experience.

I was a little nervous at first, I wasnt sure if this was going to be a waste of my time, but it was honestly a fantastic experience. I learned so much, and my art IMPROVED so much. All the instructors were so helpful to getting me to where I needed to be. I did my program virtually which was a little different, but still a great experience. All the instructors are in the field, and are mostly update on trends in the art realm. Im so thankful for my experience here <3

I would give this school 0 stars if possible when enrolling they make it seem as if they really care to attend the students needs but once you are enrolled that all goes out the window. I’ve had the worst experience here and regret every enrolling to begin with and students service coordinator Jessica has been nothing but a nightmare can never get a response back from employees or any help on their end. And as of the program coordinator heather comes off very rude when your addressing issues doesn’t really care what you’re saying rather then getting her point across. Instructors at this institution themselves say it’s not the best experience. DONTTT SIGN YOURSELF UP ! look for better options for schooling. As it will be a waste of time. I’m not the only individual that feels this way speaking to other students they have the same experience as well. School should be shut down in my opinion.

Priyanka is always there to help. I don't know where I would be on my student journey without her by my side. My experience with VCAD so far has been a very big learning curve for me, and I am so happy and grateful to be here.

Priyanka at VCAD Student Services is always understanding and accommodating. She is a scheduling and keeps us students organized and sane. This is not an easy task in an accelerated, online program with many students who juggle a heavy course load and busy personal lives. Priyanka works diligently to ensure everyone has the tools they need to pass their course with as little stress as possible.

WHEN YOU SEE VCAD (visual college of actual disappoint)TURN AROUND AND THEN RUN VERY FAST THE OTHER WAYTerrible and when they people respond saying I’m sorry for your experience don’t even bother I’ve tried talking to vcad and not one person had the time of day to listen to my concerns. My concerns seem to be what everyone else has a problem with and it’s absolutely disrespectful for a company to take thousands from students and ignore the problems they are making their student face every day. I honestly think people deserve their money back because you’re scamming thousands for your own benefit. Sad because you could be an amazing school if you would only listen to your students and do the jobs you’re all being payed very well to do.

It’s a wonderful experience to study at VCAD. Houman, the Admission Director whom interviewed me at the very beginning and always being very helpful in need! Trevor is the one who open the door of design for me, he is a very experienced and fantastic tutor in graphic design. Finally, Kirandeep was also very helpful and response quickly in helping me! Just want to say thank you to them!

My experience with VCAD is very smooth. I really appreciate Priyanka, student services coordinator who was very helpful and available whenever required. She was very approachable on teams, quick in responding to any questions. She did her best in organizing my schedule many a times, reducing course load due to my changing situations and made me very comfortable approaching her anytime regarding any queries. I am looking forward to get back from my break and continue my education. Thanks Priyanka for all the support throughout my tenure at VCAD. Hoping to working with you soon!
