Cafeteria food is awful and the school is only supposed to have 1000 students but we have 2000. Some of the VP's are pretty bad; aside from that the majority of teachers are at least decent and the academics are very good

Good school with a good learning environment. The teachers and the students are good. Most people who go to this high school usually get into good programs and become successful.

My daughter has this vice principal Paul Ruytenbeek who speaks to her charmingly & frequently. Lately he's been mentioning to her that he lost his young daughter a few years ago and that she looks like his daughter Emily Christa. He keeps looking at her in a very intimidating way, especially when she's wearing a half-bellied blouse. He is grooming her inappropriately. Please be cautious when your daughters go speak to him. I am going to complain to the OCT and if other parents feel the same. do not hesitate to do the same.

Debbie keeps forging ESL funds' paperwork claiming her students are such number while the real number is much less and the funds' gap goes into the school's account. She did that in her previous school and is still doing it at the current school. Drastic unprofessionalism.

Amazing school. Great AP Program. Math department may be one of the best of any Ontario Public High School.Teachers Shim, Gissing, Pomakov, Cimmetta, Serjeantson, Sinatra, Marsella and Del Bianco prepared me thoroughly for Waterloo Engineering.Forever will be thankful for my time at this school.

Great school with an academic focus, large variety of course offerings geared towards university-bound students. Helpful counseling staff and some amazing teachers - do your homework and ask around to find the best ones. Not the largest school but two decently sized gyms and lots of common space, lots of computer labs and classrooms, and a well-sized cafeteria. There's the usual school problems but definitely one of the better high schools around town.

one of the greatest york region highschools in term of well rounded education. some extremely smart students are here but a diverse amount of personalities also thrive. often places above private schools in a variety of activities including debate and sports. provides a gifted education without the need to sacrifice a social life for a specialized school. great student community and many places to find yourself as a teenager.

I had to say something that I noticed recently with some friends but we got scared because someone in the administration warned one of our colleagues to keep quiet because he had seen inappropriate things happening. Me and a few colleagues had to go to the student services department to get support during our tests. During our work there Mrs Borshiov was okay in the beginning but on a few occasions she made fun of my friend with her protruding eyes and a sarcastic smile. Once she'd finished talking to our colleague, she would then laugh and whisper to Mr Timmerman and Mr Smiley. When she sensed that me and my girlfriend had seen her mocking reaction to Smiley and Timmerman, she walked out of the classroom to discuss her reaction in the hallway.. I would like to say to these teachers that we are not less smarter even if we have an individual plan or struggle in our lives for special circumstances.
