H&R Block
This is the most incompetent H & R Block / tax service in Canada. Both my sister and I had a nightmare filing with them - requiring constant follow up. My taxes took over 6 months to be filed... after several follow ups. Service was terrible. The man was super sexist to the receptionist. We have used H&R block in the past and it was friendly and fast. After this experience I will likely never use H&R Block again. Stay far far away from this H & R Block.

Not sure if the tax professionals really know how to file taxes. My tax professional seemed to be new and in training, which I understand but I think they lacked basic knowledge. I booked an appointment assuming I’d be able to file taxes same day but it took 5 days and then realized they were filed incorrectly. It wasn’t worth the time and money. I used this service for peace of mind which wasn’t the case and I don’t think I’ll be back.

Today was my first time doing my taxes today, and it was a nightmare. The employees were getting things more confusing than they needed to be, and they seemed like they had no idea what they were doing. The lady that I had came off to be rude and slightly racist, while doing my taxes she was taking her time and again did not seem like to know what she was doing, then began to rush me out of her office.

I would give 0 stars but sadly I can't. What's even sadder is the refusal to explain my return, the peace of mind program, and comprehensive counting skills required to give change back when paying cash. Frightening.

Right way to file your tax !!!!I had a pleasant and informative experience from the HR Block. The whole process very informative since we are new to country and there are many supports initiated by the federal and provincial govt that seldom known. A special thanks to associate Shoibha on taking care of us as she guided through out the process . I will certainly recommend the new comers in Canada to file there tax with HR team as it’s reliable and transparent .

My past experience with H&R Block was nothing short of a nightmare. The representative who filed my taxes made a critical error when entering the information that resulted in me not getting my return which included thousands in tuition. The staff was highly resistant to helping me since I didn't pay for their guarantee and I had to hire an accountant to refile and correct the errors. Save yourself the run-around and file yourself or hire an accountant.

They aren't organized. I will not be returning to H&R block. They told me I would get a refund and I ended up owing the government $116. This is the second time this has happened. I don't think they know what they are doing. I paid them $200 to do my taxes and think it was just a scam. Avoid them.

I am so appreciative for Tracy Scott and her team. Tracey just completed my parents tax returns. She was immediate in her responses both by email and by phone. Tracy was creative in how I was able to get the information needed to her and made available electronic signing as I was in isolation at home. Thanks again Tracy.

Maria was super helpful as it was my first time filing taxes and she showed me and made sure I understood each step. Lovely experience overall. Would definitely recommend!
