Great place to get together and enjoy an evening of music and drinks! Great atmosphere and the owners are super inviting and great to chat with! The scenery is beautiful and there is lots to do in the area!!

Great vibe at the new Hollow Valley!! Perfect for a date night or hanging with friends. Live music on the weekends is amazing with some fantastic local musicians. Open mic nights are a blast.Stayed in one of their new rooms - lots of space, comfortable beds, and a quiet nights sleep. I’ll be back!!

The new renovations look great! Very welcoming and friendly owners. They showcase local and national musical talent all weekend long for you to enjoy at night. There is river on the resort that is only a quick boat ride or paddle to the Lake of Bays. I'm looking forward to my next stay at Hollow Valley.

The beds were super comfy. Room was clean and new. The live music was surprisingly good. Cold beers by the firepit. Can't get much better than that!

Great rooms, newly renovated. The property was beautiful, surrounded by the river. Snowmobile trails were right there (D101B). The live music on the weekends was an unexpected bonus, such talented musicians. I can't wait to go back in the summer with the boat, the river goes right into Lake of Bays.

Hollow Valley Resort
Hollow Valley Resort was wonderful to discover! After extensive renovations, it reopened and has become a gathering place for locals and cottagers from all over. The rooms are modern and sparkling, while the bar and live music experience is phenomenal. The location in Dorset is great as a 'home base', from which to explore the environs. Owners and staff are as welcoming as they are friendly, and service is top-notch. Bravo!

Know the owners. Such great people! They have really turned this place into the a great retreat from the city. Such a beautiful property within close proximity to hiking trails and waterfalls. The weekends offer live music which just adds that extra touch of relaxation.
