James came to inspect our wood fireplace insert and chimney for our insurance requirements. He explained everything very clearly and answered all of my questions (as a new homeowner, I had quite a few!) and provided us a copy of his inspection. I would recommend supporting this local company.

They let us know immediately when we could expect their help-- it was a few weeks, but we had planned for that, and I appreciated them being up-front with the realities of their schedule. They did great work, quickly, right on my expected cost-point, and our sauna-heater looks/works great. Highly recommended!

Friendly folks, solid work, and clear advice. Payment was easier than with a certain other sweep we called last year.We had an appointment within a week. When they arrived they were super friendly, took the time to chat with us and say hello to the dog before getting to work.Before we paid they provided a longevity update on our aging stove and chimney, firm that it won’t last much longer without pushing us to buy something then and there.Really happy with the experience. We had Black Magic out to help clean up the mess we had from being a long term customer of Haulin Ash.This company is fantastic, they came out cleaned the chimney, inspected everything, gave us tips on how to fix an unresolved and unnoticed issue that only got worse considering we were relying on the “expert advice” from lazy Bob at Haulin Ash. Next time we have any issues Black Magic will be our first and only call.

We just had Cody and Josh out to clean our chimney and they were FANTASTIC! They arrived earlier than anticipated which was great, were both very courteous and professional. The chimney was cleaned quickly and Cody took the time to chat with me when they were done to go over how the cleaning went, when they would recommend another cleaning and answered any questions I had.When I had initially contacted Black Magic via email they were quick to respond with an estimate and the next available date they could preform the service. Without a doubt, we will use this company for all our future chimney/wood stove needs.Building a fire in your home is seemingly simple but there are so many safety precautions to keep in mind.
