Joanne and James are great. I have purchased two electric bicycles from them. One did not work out, and they did everything they could to fix it and work with the manufacturer. Unfortunately it didn't work out, and they gave me a refund with no hassle. My other electric bike I've had for 6 years and it is still going! Zero issues with it and only ever needed basic maintenance. I have taken that little folding bike to Toronto, up north, and for my commute in Durham. I think both these scenarios from my purchases speak well to their character and reliability. I continue to tell people who are interested in electric bikes to shop here.

James is so amazing he will go out of his way to make sure you get what you paid for. I had a problem with a brand new E bike and he immediately ordered apart and got on to fixing it as soon as possible! They will not let you leave without a working bike they will fix it and make sure that you are satisfied. I've been waiting for my bike for a couple of days and I cannot wait to get it back as the performance of these bikes are beyond amazing. Durham e bikes will go out of their way for you and make sure you get what you paid, definitely buy an e-bike here if you want the best service!

Got my Hornet X in May 2022. Absolutely love this bike. Lots of power. Great handling and such a smooth ride. It's the 3rd bike I've had in 10 yrs and by far my favorite. My last bike was a Daymak and it was always needing something fixed. Highly recommended this bike. James and Joanne were extremely knowledgeable, helpful and friendly when I came in to purchase my bike and it was ready for pickup in a timely manner.

Very helpful, customer friendly. Answered all my questions. They were very quick to have my bike ready after purchase and went through all the stuff I needed to know as a new bike owner. Highly recommend.

I was in the market to purchase an E bike for myself. I went around to several locations in the Durham region including some big box stores. I had read the reviews for Durham E-Bikes and decided to check them out. I’m very glad that I did because I ended up purchasing my Emmo vgo electric bike from them. From the beginning of our discussions both James and Joanne were extremely honest and helpful in terms of the type of bike I needed. I was also pleased to learn that I could purchase a bike and have it delivered in two weeks which had not been the case in the other locations I had been looking at. True to their word the bike was ready for test drive and pick up and they were most helpful in terms of getting me comfortable with my new purchase. Not only did I enjoy spending time in the shop with this couple I really felt that the money that I spent went to a very good product . I’m looking forward to writing this review for them because I think they’re a hard-working couple running a small business and they really deserve gratitude and I hope that it may encourage others to visit their business.

Today I received my new Emmo Knight Turbo 72 volt 50 amp. Small problem getting the bike I wanted with no fault of the owners of Durham E-Bikes. Anyways ended up with a great bike with a larger battery. Overall great experience with Durham E-Bikes. Definitely will return for all my E-Bike needs. Thanks James and Joanne.
