First time to Thumpers was about 10 years ago at Upper Ottawa & StoneChurch....great service. Now that the owner is getting up in age His service is still better than some other places. He knows his keys, thats for sure!

Knowledgable, efficient, quick and friendly service. Only the second time ever that keys I've had copied worked the first time!!This was my first visit but will definitely be a regular now ( he replaces watch batteries too)

I always recommend this place to anyone looking for quality keys for an amazingly cheap price. He is so friendly and doesn’t even need to know the make of the car to match the key. He made my new key within 5 minutes with a friendly attitude. If you need a key or special wood engraving in Hamilton GO TO THUMPERS!

Their advertised hours are 10:00am-2:00pm on Saturdays. I went at 1:15 and the shop was closed up tight with no note. Guess I'm headed somewhere else.

Excellent job. I tried to make a copy of key twice from Canadian tire but it didn’t work. But the copy from here worked well.. good rate as well

Scotlyn is a charming 80 year old man who really cares about his craft. I liked his simple store front and was happy with his engraving and key cutting services. This style of service is almost extinct. Please support Scotlyn if your local to his store

I went to 2 other places, including Canadian Tire, and neither had the blanks I needed. On the wall at Thumpers there are HUNDREDS of blanks, and he knew just where to look to find the ones that matched my keys.He's got every type of watch battery as well. Do yourself a favour and check out this neat little shop.
