Shades of Beauty Spa

This is the best spa which I have been too! I just did my pedicure and manicure from the Shades of Beauty Spa and I loved it!! Neelam is such a wonderful person to talk too while getting your manicure done and on the other hand, Neelam is also very knowledgeable! The service here was amazing as well as Neelam is very a kind, warm hearted and welcoming person. My experience here was amazing and it will always be! I really really recommend this spa to everyone one!! You'll never regret it.

I have been going to this salon ever since I moved to Calgary and have been consistently very satisfied with all the services. She takes her time to make sure the experience is perfect. She is personable while also being professional. Communication is always easy too. Best service in Calgary and I highly recommend this spa to anyone who is looking for their next spot for threading and facials!!

The procedures I got done with Neelam were all items that I’ve never done before and she was very accommodating and informative. She talked me through the process and made me very comfortable the whole time! Now I’m a regular! I totally recommend!

This is my second time going and she’s amazing at her work. I usually do threading for eyebrows and upper lip, however, today I did full face. She’s careful, gentle, and observant. Not only that but she’s always smiling and shows genuine interest in her clients.

I've been going to this spa since last year and Neelam is exceptional. She is very knowledgeable on skin care and clear in her communication. I have particularly appreciated her dedication in caring for your skin. I was out of country at the beginning of this year and my skin became terribly clogged with breakouts. I reached out to her in desperation. I will never forget how she guided me on my skin care and explained what to omit or implement with the products I had, that helped me clear my skin in 2 weeks! Overall, the spa is extremely clean, meticulously organized, and relaxing. I have had facials, sugar waxing, threading done here and will continue to visit Neelam for her pure professionalism and quality of service!

Please think twice before coming here, I spent over 200 to try a wider range of service (facial, brow threading and dye, and lash lift and tint) so I am confident in my review. Firstly a lot of her 5 start review probably comes from the fact that she gives you a discount on your next appointment when you leave a review, this obviously pressures people leaving a good one. I normally would never leave bad review for small business owners as I know how hard it is but this was just something else. The whole time during my facial she would be bashing about the my current skin care (which are all expensive and well know such as Tatcha, Dr. Jart and 3 ships beauty) and tried to push Eminence a brand that she clearly gets commission from. For my brows She did NOT map out anything out and just went for them without asking me about shape or length or anything. Once she was done and asked me how they looked they were evidently uneven but the damage was already done so I stayed hopeful for my lash lift (which is where I messed up) as I thought they are just brows and will grow back. For my lash lift right after it you can tell that she had over curled my lashes but at the moment I thought it was fine as it’d come dome eventually and she said its just because my lashes are too long(which is no excuse now that I did some research). NO I was so wrong! She chemical durned them!!! They are no longer smooth and literally looks like wonky hairs thats been durned! I had really long and healthy lashes before and now they just sad. Its been a few weeks and my lashes are falling out like theres no tomorrow and looks like they’ve been zapped. Would not recommend it as she clearly does NOT know how to work with all shades of beauty as she put the blame on to my lashes being too long for an asian.

The Best place ever to enhance your beauty. Neelam was very welcoming and very knowledgeable person. I got the fabulous eyebrows shape done by her like the best. I would highly recommend to visit this place and get some amazing experience about how to take care of your skin.

My two teenaged daughters and I visited this spa for the first time today. We had waxing and eyebrow threading services done. The spa is beautiful, clean, bright, and well laid out. Neelam was friendly and patient with us. We were 100% happy with the services we received and we most definitely will be coming back!
