LAC + CO

This review is a bit overdue (4 years)but it’s a heads up for other people, I booked balayage with Tony the owner and was quoted 400 his he didn’t even touch my hair and his assistant had done the whole thing which is weird when you book with a specific person, then without being told any extra costs I was getting my hair styled then randomly cut and when I went to checkout my total was 700… I was too young and nervous at the time to say anything but honestly the experience still haunts me of that 700 mistake and the colour came out way more orange and lighter than I requested and ended up box dying it the next day

Tony and his team have been amazing during these tough times. Thank you so much for taking care my moms color needs. As a new client to your salon they went above and beyond with many virtual consultations in order to get an accurate representation of her color and what was needed in the situation. The color kit and gloss kit that was delivered was amazing and she is extremely happy with the results. She looks forward to coming when all of this calms down.

Tia is an incredibly talented colourist.I am so happy with my blonde balayage! stunning salon. I would definitely come back here.

I haven’t been to Lac + Co for probably a yr and a half and since my hairdresser Max left, I won’t be returning. I initially booked my first appt with Tony for highlights. He saw me for maybe 5 minutes and then passed me off to his assistant so I’m not sure what it means to book an appt with Tony but maybe that’s how they work… I liked what they did the first time but after that, my highlights went downhill and it ended up being overly blonde and brassy. Kiki is lovely and very patient but I did find the energy of Tony and the way he treated his clients and staff just hard to witness and the mistreatment made me uncomfortable. I’m hopeful that it’s just a show but I can’t help feel like if he treats the staff and behaves this way in front of us, I can only imagine what it’s like behind the scenes. In any event, if I’m going somewhere for a service, I prefer to be in a friendly, warm, accepting environment.I also found it to be incredibly expensive but imagine that rent in Yorkville is exorbitant.I’m grateful for Lac + Co because they introduced me to Max, but now that he’s no longer there, I won’t be returning.

Such a terrible salon and extremely rude staff. Tony was very disrespectful and arrogant. Came in for consult with Tony and he started to insult the texture of my hair and proceeded to make indirect racist comments just plain horrible. Never again will I go back!! There’s no shortage of good salon in Toronto and Lac and Co is NOT one of them. I think you get better service at your local super cut than here.* note not using my real name*

Best hair salon I have ever been too. I showed them some pictures and we had a consultation, then my hair was transformed! Tony and all the staff are wonderful. They truly care about their clients and helping them achieve their hair goals. The location is great and I will continue going back. Couldn’t recommend this place more.

I really liked it, I'm delighted with my new hairstyle. It turned out better than I imagined. In the salon A cozy place, a lot of light, everyone is friendly and professional. Thanks for the new look! Tia Kim the best!!!!
