Motel La Siesta De Gascon

It was a nice and quiet place to stay my family love it

It was a motel, a bit dated/cobbled together with a slightly jarring stucco decor. The jacuzzi tub was nice, the room was dark but mostly clean (nothing gross but also not spotless), the bed was comfy and the price was right for a quick getaway. The jacuzzi suite we were in has a fridge but no microwave. There are quite a few restaurants within an easy walk, including a Buffet Des Continents, a Creole place, and others. The staff made an effort to assist us in English, but speaking some French was helpful.

Look at the pictures compared to the site, no fireplace, no ks bed, desk said pictures should have been removed as someone lives there... so $260 2 nights, nothing included, 15 year old Impressed with the 3 English satellite channels, can't wait to get back to Morin heights motels . Have so many pics including pink mold in shower etc...

Disgusting , I suspect that place to be haunted as well !!!

Not only this place is not a proper place to stay at, but also if you feel you’re an honorable, respectful, and decent human being, you should avoid this motel at all costs. The wifi doesn't work at all, rooms smell strong smoke. You will face problems at this motel and to address those, you will have to deal with a group of unprofessional, rude, and abusive management and staff. We requested and paid for a suite with king-size bed, non-smoking. We were given a small room with a double bed in a very disgusting way to begin with. They sent us to the ATM down the road to get cash for them as their card reader wasn't working. The receptionist kept speaking in French and made it look as if it was our fault their machine was broken. When we asked why they were not giving us what we paid for, we were told to wait until the next morning when the manager came in because apparently, the receptionist didn’t have permission from her boss to do her job. The manager never showed up the following day. Instead, we had to converse with another couple of reception/service people who did not seem to be able to communicate properly or to have any authority to address any issue whatsoever. The manager told them over the phone to let us know we had to get over it and we had to leave the motel as we were “wasting” their time. I am hesitant to mention more of the words we heard or the attitude shown by the staff for this review may get filtered out. But for your sake, don’t trash your money and ruin your vacation for a place that doesn't even match third-world country standards.
