Amazing cat rescue made up of caring and passionate volunteers. I was a foster parent and they were great to work with!

Annex Cat Rescue has a special place in my heart. I went to an adoptathon about 6 years ago and got the last cat there. She is a tortie and is the absolute light of my life. I can’t imagine my life without her.My impressions of Annex Cat Rescue are positive as well. They were a very well run and efficient rescue to deal with. They really cared that the cat we adopted ended up in a safe environment and was the right fit. Their genuine concern for the animals was really nice to see. They want to make sure it’s a forever home.Our cat was obviously well cared for when we got her. She was spayed, shots up to date, healthy, lovely little kitten. We were told that if any circumstances in our life ever lead to us not being able to keep our cat (God forbid) we could contact them, no questions asked.I would absolutely deal with Annex Cat Rescue again.

I adopted my cat Pancake through Annex Cat Rescue, and the process was simple and easy! They made sure I had all the help I needed, at every step of the way. Pancake has brought a lot of love into my life. I recommend Annex Cat Rescue to anyone considering welcoming a cat into their home/family. I promise you won't regret it!

Only good things to say..Annex is volunteer run and helps rescue homeless cats of Toronto. They are a big boots on the ground rescue that also helps with TNR - trap, neuter, return initiatives. They care about the cats in their care and will make sure you are the right match.

There are people who make a difference to minimize the suffering of others and Annex Cat Rescue has been caring,supportive and reliably offering their own time.I was quickly put in contact with April, who's Trapping skills are 2nd to none. She had to look around the neighborhood as the mother had already moved her Kittens before the end of the day. April, trapped and released the Spicy Mom Cat and her 2 Kittens, Criss and Cross (named for both their eyes) were fostered and adopted. Please Donate to ACR, the cats are worth every penny..

I have now adopted cats from ACR on two occasions. The first was a foster fail who my family and I absolutely fell in love with and now two kittens. They are an absolute breeze and joy to work with and everyone I've ever spoken to from volunteers to foster parents, to coordinators was so wonderful and obviously cared about cats a tremendous amount. Highly recommend adopting (or fostering) from them.

We adopted a bonded pair of cats (our first pets) with ACR last September, which I found through Google searches. The volunteers were able to answer all of our questions and concerns and connected us very quickly with the foster parents of the cats we were interested in. The entire process was so smooth and we felt very supported. They still check in on us ever so often to see how the cats are doing. We feel good knowing that they really care about the cats, and do so much good for the feral cat population in Toronto. Thank you for connecting us with our wonderful kitties and for giving them a chance.

We adopted a bonded pair back in January. They were the last 2 captured from their litter when rescued from a wooded area. They were taken in by a foster family where they were cared for, given their shots, etc. Only when the foster family felt the cats were ready for adoption were they listed on the internet. Although the cats were very nervous at first, they are coming around nicely and enjoy spending time with us. One even loves to cuddle.Annex Cat Rescue has done a good job of matching us with our cats and following up with assistance as necessary. I highly recommend them.

I adopted my two cats Ruby and Ollie from them, at separate times (before and during the pandemic), and both times it was an amazing experience. They rescue so many lives and take great care to find suitable, loving families (furever homes) for them! I highly recommend ACR to anyone looking to find a new best friend and family member!
