My brother was at Roozen Family Hospice Centre the few weeks before his passing. I can not say enough about the kindness, professionalism, going above and beyond to ensure he had the best care. They also took great care of the family when they came. The staff and care facility is the best anywhere. Thank you all so much for all you did

Spent months here with my ailing mother during her end of life. I cannot express enough how much this place became a part of my family. Everyone here from the top down is absolutely amazing and generous in their support for both residents and their families. They accepted us where we were at... were there through many tears and through much laughter. Thank you from the bottom of my heart! You truly made the difference in my Moms last days here on the earth.

Beautifully supportive environment. The staff and volunteers here are compassionate and nurturing. I had heard good things from friends before coming here, but I found the care of the staff to be beyond what had been described to me. Keep up the wonderful work you do! :)

They go the extra mile to offer help, compassion and more during very difficult times for family's of loved ones close to the end of their physical time of departure from this relm.

This establishment was a huge disappointment and a rating of 1 star is giving credit where credit isn't do. I have been a father to a little girl for a year and she had lost her father two years ago. The challenges that I deal with every day are overwhelming but worth every moment. When we were seeking help for our daughter, we assumed this establishment would be beneficial because this is what they supposedly specialize in. The initial meeting with Cherly and Sarah Karesa went well and it was a good feeling to continue on with their services. The first meeting that my daughter attended was not very professional because seeing that I'm not the legal guardian, Sarah stated that she could not see her because she require concent from the legal guardian. Then she proceeds to tell me that she was going to send this form that required a signature for the legal guardian 3 days prior but neglected todo so. So once this was all straightened out, our daughter attended a few sessions and with no real feedback or guidance from Sarah Karesa. So then we sent Sarah Karesa an email requesting feedback on our daughter, then Sarah Karesa sends an email requesting a meeting the mother that clearly stated I was not allowed to attend. Seven emails confirming each time that I was not allowed to attend. (Emails can be viewed upon request) We were both outraged at this time but the meeting was attended without me to find out what was going on. Sarah Karesa was very skidish and grasping for words but overall the information was vague and not very encouraging. The lack of guidance and alienating myself from the growth of our daughter, had left the mother to believe that Sarah's interests were not in what's best for a child. Sarah Karesa needs to understand that I have chosen to be in their life and it wasn't forced. We have 2 children that I share no DNA whatsoever but I treat them like they are my own. I'm there to cook for them, play with them, tuck them in at night and 3 am cries out because of a bad dream or because they are sick and guide them when they are having troubled times. I know these situations are sensitive but it takes everyone that is a part of her life to be involved in the recovery. Sarah Karesa shouldn't have the right to dictate otherwise after her form was signed making me privy to all information. They preach team but the lack of team effort from this establishment has left us making people aware and searching for a reputable place to help with our daughters recovery. She's six years old.

Beautiful, private, serene surroundings backed up by the VERY BEST in nursing staff and physicians. My husband passed away there..the love and support, and comfort our family received there is something I truly will NEVER forget!

Such a wonderful kind and wholesome place...smiling faces...expert doctors and nurses ... quiet and clean and well maintained. Definitely client and family focused. Lovely volunteers who get it...just can't say enough about my mom's final resting place.

My father has been at the Roozen Family Hospice Centre for four days now and we are beyond grateful for the level of care he has received. Every staff member, doctor, and volunteer has been amazing and very accommodating. We also had a very special moment today when one of the nurses played Christmas songs on the piano and my Father hummed along to the music. There is no other place in the world I would choose to have my father at for his end of life care. THANK YOU!!!

Truly embodies the concept of compassionate care. Every person and their family deserves this standard of end of life care. Professional, supportive, helpful, and welcoming. The staff and volunteers have provided a gold star model that should set a precedence for public health models to strive towards. The experience has allowed my family to navigate grief and savour the precious gift of time with our loved one. We are grateful. Many thanks to the staff and volunteers.
