Andrea Ryan Doula

Andrea attended both of my children’s births. The first, an emergency cesarean and the other a home birth after cesarean. Andrea’s knowledge and care was crucial in both circumstances. Her calming presence and support before, during and after both births was truly a gift to our family, allowing us adapt to such a massive change. She devoted herself fully to our family, making sure everything and everyone was taken care of. She is a beautiful person, and a gift to birthing families.

Andrea is an absolutely incredible Doula. I felt safe with her from the moment I met her. She has a way of making you feel so comfortable. She held me in every decision I made and I never felt judged no matter what I chose for me and my baby. She stood behind all my decisions and helped me advocate for me and my babe. Thank you so much Andrea!

I would not of survived infancy without the advice, guidance and support of Andrea Ryan. Her knowledge is vast and she is able to deliver information in a gentle and encouraging way which is so helpful when you are in the newborn fog and a new mom. Forever grateful for her services and a friend for life.

Andrea is incredible, words will not do this justice but I will try. Andrea helped me feel supported as my doula through my entire first birth experience and postpartum. She was very practical and I never felt judged for any choices or wishes that I had. She is incredibly patient, kind, and extremely knowledgeable. She supported me through a covid NICU experience (something I don’t wish on anyone), breastfeeding (I credit her and Tania with my success in exclusively breastfeeding my son for 7 months) and later, when I unexpectedly had to wean to start fertility treatments again, she helped me through weaning and bottle refusal. I truly don’t know what I would have done without her support. I’ve already hired her to help with my second baby in the spring. Thank you Andrea ❤️

Andrea skillfully and compassionately took care of my placenta encapsulation after both my deliveries. She was also available to guide me through how best to use the placenta products she provided. I wasn’t aware of the details of the role of doula at the time, but knowing what I know now, I wish I could go back and hire her for both birth support and post partum services-I have no doubt it would have impacted my motherhood journey positively.I treat many pregnant women in my RMT practice and have referred many clients to her over the years-with overwhelmingly positive outcomes for my clients. She is truly a gem to the birthing and post-partum community in our area.

Andrea provided me with pre and post partum doula care when I had both my children and having her by my side was one of the best decisions I have made. Andrea creates such a welcoming, positive and safe environment for mamas. She advocates for mama and baby in a hospital setting and supports you with your birthing goals. The love and passion she puts into being a doula is truly shown in her work. Both my husband and I have nothing but positive things to say about her!
