Lions timber Mart is one of the oldest businesses in the Sault Ste Marie Algoma district. They are in their field the best place to acquire building materials tools and so on. Their prices are for the same product lower than other competitors. Their employees are very well informed very eager to help customers. If a customer needs advice they are there to help them and to give them the best advice not the best for the company but for the customers. I have been a loyal customer for many years and recommend them to anyone who asks me what is the best place to go to for lumber building products and the whole range of associated products. Too many other local businesses are most interested in profit rather than service. The staff are very personable very kind and leave the customers with a feeling of being respected. They have set a standard so high that competitors fail to reach. We are blessed to have them in our city.

Bought our kitchen here! The service for buying the kitchen went smoothly. Unfortunately we had to wait a few months for some doors that needed to arrive from the manufacturer due to covid. Which isn't thier fault but there also wasn't too much communication. We love the kitchen at the end of the day, and would shop there again.

If you plan on returning shingles beware! Went to return the 8 bundles (pictured) and was told I would only be offered 10% of the original value as they were graded 3/5 by the yard. Original purchase price = $260, return they were offering me = $26. No damage to the shingles themselves but small tares in the plastic coverings. I can understand a discounted return rate, however this policy is ridiculous. Lyon's Timber Mart will most certainly be selling each bundle for more than $3 a piece. Lost a customer, I'll be driving to Soo Mill from now on.
