I've had the pleasure of working with Wes Stevenson of Kelowna Divorce (and Fairway Divorce), and he is a quiet leader with strong mediation skills. His compassion and heart are evident in every communication we have.I wish Wes and his team were mediators here in Kelowna when I went through my own divorce. He clearly articulates your options, and in my opinion Wes as your mediator is the right choice. He will educate you first, and work with both of you to have all the details of your agreement in order before you ever visit a lawyer to sign off on it. This process will save you tens of thousands of dollars. From my experience working with Wes and his team, I can highly recommend this firm to you. You will be guided through the divorce process with dignity and respect.

Wes Stevenson set up a draft separation agreement that gave my ex husband all the power, money and assets in the marriage and divorce. He told me that my ex husband needed to keep the family business to be able to pay the child support. The business that we legally started as a legal partnership together. Wes refused to listen to me. I found him to be very sexist. He than added the $22,000 in taxes my ex incurred the year he left to be taken by my ex by the sale of the matrimonial home. When by law the assets gained in a marriage in Canada should be spit 50/50.Wes stated in the separation agreement that my ex must agree to extra expenses ( giving my ex power over me) my ex never agreed to anything. We did not know we would both need lawyers to negotiate the separation draft. My lawyer told me to go back to school and that my ex must agree to pay half the daycare expenses. Due to the wording of the draft he would not agree and I lost $3000 to the lawyer and could not afford to finish the negotiations to finalize the agreement.Wes and FairWay divorce caused my children and I to experience years of financial hardship. In the agreement Wes states that because my ex was self employed with the business he had the power to self review his amount of child support payments.FairWay divorce and Wes destroyed my rights to the assets of the marriage and my children’s rights to proper financial support by their father. My ex husband and I are now back in court 8 years after The unfinished separation agreement drafted by FairWay. I am trying to have the court open up his personal bank accounts to see what he is actually making towards paying the actual amount on the child support tables. As for the assets of the house and business I may never get them back and my have lost over $84,000
