Wes Stevenson set up a draft separation agreement that gave my ex husband all the power, money and assets in the marriage and divorce. He told me that my ex husband needed to keep the family business to be able to pay the child support. The business that we legally started as a legal partnership together. Wes refused to listen to me. I found him to be very sexist. He than added the $22,000 in taxes my ex incurred the year he left to be taken by my ex by the sale of the matrimonial home. When by law the assets gained in a marriage in Canada should be spit 50/50.Wes stated in the separation agreement that my ex must agree to extra expenses ( giving my ex power over me) my ex never agreed to anything.We did not know we would both need lawyers to negotiate the separation draft. My lawyer told me to go back to school and that my ex must agree to pay half the daycare expenses.
