A & E HVAC Solutions Ltd

We have been limping our furnace along for a couple of years and finally made the decision to get a new furnace installed. Based on our own research we wanted to go with a Trane Furnace. We called a couple of different companies to setup a few quotes before we made the decision to buy.We had Andrew from A&E HVAC come into the house and do an inspection and then quote on the different models available to us. We stood in our kitchen for an hour discussing the different options as well as how the installation would go. Andrew was very detailed and educated my wife and I on different options as well as the different warranties available to us. We talked about, sizes, efficiency ratings as well as decibel levels. Then we started talking about A/C being added too. We were getting educated prior to buying.Rather than having a couple more people come in to quote our installation, we felt great that Andrew was giving us the best bang for our dollar, so we decided to go with A&E. We were also excited to have a local company from Okotoks do the installation rather than a big guy or franchise from the City.Jordan and Justin were the two guys on site doing the installation. They were both quiet, well dressed and super efficient at getting the old furnace out and the new one in. This was all done within the first day, they would then come and finish the A/C install the following morning.They did a great job at keeping the worksite clean and were very good at communicating what was going on throughout the day.There was a minor hiccup with the building permit as the town inspector did not pass the installation because a vent was too close to some other piping. When I emailed they sent Jordan out right away to make the correction. He apologized for overlooking the space that failed and he moved the piping from the 3.5 to 6" like it was supposed to be. Jordan took full responsibility for this minor inconvenience. We weren't looking to place blame

We had A&E come in to finish up the installation of a high efficiency furnace which had proved to be a bit too high tech for the initial contractor we were using. Andrew was excellent - he was able to instantly diagnose the few issues that were remaining, and gave us peace of mind that everything was working as it should be. We've been having them do our maintenance ever since, and have had nothing but great experiences. Would not hesitate to recommend.

I cannot say enough about the service that A & E has provided my family over the course of a few years, with multiple houses. They are extremely efficient, timely and genuinely seem to care about the needs of their customers. Huge props to Andrew and his team - I make sure I go out of my way to recommend these guys to anyone looking for HVAC services.

Decided to contact AE for quote on humidistat install. Spoke with office staff who took message for call back. I guess they don't need any business as nobody call back to book service.

We have never used this company before but had some issues with our furnace, so my husband who works in Okotoks decided to give them a call. We are so happy that we did. The technician came to our home and was very kind and personable. He tuned up the furnace and looked over it to see about the issue we were having, couldn't find the issue. So a few days later we called back to let them know it was still happening and they came back to our home very quickly and found what the problem was. We never got charged for the second visit and the initial visit was very reasonable in price. Andrew and his staff are awesome, you can't find honest people really anymore so it was quite refreshing to have this happen. I would totally recommend these guys if you're having any type of furnace issue, even if it is just for a tune up...thank you guys!!!

A & E HVAC solutions have been fantastic,from the qoute to the installation. Andrew came on time to the house and when he'd done his walk through,he sat us down and discussed what would be the best unit for us. The price was reasonable. The install crew came on time again and didn't leave until they'd explained and check everything was working. 2 months later I noticed a leak that had developed around the condensate pump that A&E fitted and after a quick phone call to the office, they sent and engineer around and fixed it pronto. We love the air conditioning and wouldn't hesitate to use or recommend A&E to anyone. Thank you very much for everything guys.

Our furnace quit in the middle of cold snap -30C. Although our 2nd furnace and fireplace were adequate, the team at A&E jumped into action and treated it as an emergency (did not charge me as one) despite not being one! From my first call to completion in less than 4hrs... The repair was not major but significant enough to require sourcing of the required parts from Calgary. If this is the service I can expect in a non-emergency situation, I know who I will be calling next time for sure. Top Tier Service is what we received. Ordered AC install in March, estimator said 4-6 weeks for completion.Made numerous calls to A and E, kept saying there were no units available. Never once did they contact me, just left things hanging.I contacted another contractor and he got all supplies and installed the unit within two weeks, yet A and E could do nothing within three months,Not Even a Phone Call from them.Very Poor Customer Service Indeed.

There was an issue with the maintenance done last year.I left a message for Andrew, the owner and didn't hear back.I called again recently and no response. Today the very friendly receptionist said he's too busy. I don't recommend a business owned bysomeone who doesn't return a call over a 6 month time frame.
