Usually it's great, however, I was there in May, had a few issues, called in to let them know, was told that I'd have a store credit next time I come in....Fast forward to today.... All of a sudden there's nothing in their books about me or my dissatisfied experience.I had ordered about 150$ worth, just a couple things wrong, was told I'd have 65$ credit. But nothing is written down and was just told unfortunately they can't do anything.

Food was fine, my husband liked his chicken and my ribs were just a bit dry, but place itself was not really clean. Garbage on the floor and our table was in crumbs, so I guess nobody wiped it after previous clients.

Chicken was really good tonight but particularly want to mention our server Shaunacy. She was excellent. Was extremely attentive and had such a warm welcoming smile. We commented to her she was one of the best servers we had experienced in a long while.

We typically enjoy the Woodstock Swiss Chalet but this experience was absolutely unacceptable. Our drinks took 25 minutes, dinners over an hour. When food came out, it was cold, and the wrap we asked for with no tomato contained tomatoes. The same wrap also contained a chicken bone, despite the fact that white meat was requested. When we asked to speak to a manager about the issues with our meal she was completely ignorant. Rolled her eyes, got defensive and claimed the staff was “brand new and still training”. If this is the case, and your choice to train your staff in prime dinner hours on Saturday night is affecting the time it is taking for dinners to be made, the customer needs to be informed of this prior to the meal being ordered. Our poor server Ethan should find a new place to work, we will not be back to the Woodstock Swiss Chalet.

I love when I get home to find out my spring rolls look like a pile of burnt dog food and a bone was in the first bite. Chicken is burnt rice is a pile of mush. Gross. Usually it's pretty good but tonight was very disappointing

Haven’t picked up our food yet. I’m sure it will be good, but the preorder was terrible. We tried to order in advance during our half hour drive to the restaurant. Waited almost 10 minutes for an answer the first time, then when answered got disconnected, called again and had to wait another 7 minutes for an answer. We finally got our order placed 5 minutes before arrival.

Laura was a wonderful waitress. She was attentive and made sure to check in often to make sure we had everything we needed. Food came quick and was very hot. Coconut cream pie is always wonderful!

We were greeted right away by the hostess.The server took us to our seats right away. There were 5 of us.The service was ok. The server was pleasant and she made sure we had drinks.We waited quite a while for our food though and it wasn't really busy.My friend had the Festive Half Back Ribs combo. She chose the white meat but she wasn't aware that by choosing that option, there was an extra cost. The ribs didn't have much meat on it.I had the Famous Festive Special. The chicken was meh. Nothing to write home about.My other friend liked her wings.All of us wanted to substitute the dressing in the Festive meals for another side but we were told they couldn't substitute but we could order another side separately. When they brought the dressing, all we did was throw it away. Such a waste of food to not allow substitutions.The waitress came by with our bill, brought us the Lindor chocolate which was part of the Festive specials orders and didn't ask if we wanted any coffee/tea or dessert which is a rookie move considering we are all tea drinkers and we were going to place orders for tea and desserts.Overall, I'm still very nostalgic about the Swiss Chalet of the past. It seems like they are just going through the motions.

Our first Swiss Chalet in awhile. Completely dissatisfied! We had delivery. Both our gravy and sauce containers were literally shoved into our mashed potatoes!!!! I wish I thought to take photos!! How hygienic and unappetizing is that??? The Quarter White was seemingly undercooked...I could not eat it. The Double Leg was greasy. The green beans which are advertised and pictured as Garlic Green Beans were absolutely BARE of any garlic butter glaze and were just rubbery and bland.

Our waitress Shaunacy was a blast, a great mix of fun, attentiveness and service-sense. And for whatever reason, my wife and I both remarked how really good the chicken tasted at this restaurant. We dine at the Swiss Chalet near our home quite regularly and always enjoy it, but this was really special somehow, the best we’d had in many years (and we weren’t starving when we arrived, so it wasn’t just satisfied hunger). Maybe it had something to do with celebrating our 40th wedding anniversary…. Whatever they’re doing, I hope they keep it up! We’ll be back for sure next return trip from visiting family in Michigan.
