Best Canadian outdoor store.VPO has always been my favorite,With locations in remote towns and unparalleled selection in gear and clothing.Website could use updating but that does not bother me, I use MEC and EVO websites for product research and shop at VPOHowever you will not find many products at MEC which has become grossly posh and many times overpriced due to their guarantee which is abused by said posh peeps.VPO is always there for us, in that town I've never been in, at the last stop before adventure.Thanks VPO

I can see why this store is getting great reviews. We entered the store to 'window shop' and the customer service was excellent! Evan checked in just enough to balance helpfulness with browsing space. He was knowledgeable and had a great sense of humor. He read us as customers perfectly. Thanks to his friendliness and knowledge we ended up buying just a 'few' items and thoroughly enjoyed our experience.

Great selection on everything outdoors! You have to want to spend money though as they don't cater to the thrifty shoppers. You get good quality shopping here. I have camping gear that I have had for years and it still works like new
