Delicious pastries and especially coffee although there wasn’t a ton of options. Very friendly staff, nice seating area and clean bathrooms. Would recommend for a light meal or coffee break if in the area!

I stayed nearby and went to this place 4 days of the 5 days I lived nearby!The lady who served us was sweet and courteous. She would always handover a fresh croissant right out of the baking tray.The coffee is pretty good as well.The chocolate almond croissant is the best I've ever had.

It has been a couple of years since we have been to this bakery, but I just found our photos that we took there - and all the memories came back. WOW what a stunning selection of baked goods and pastries! Staff was very nice and pleasant. We were able to sit down to enjoy these goodies at clean tables. Simply a perfect place and a great choice for a snack/quick breakfast or lunch.

The quintessential Quebec bakeryAfter several disappointing experiences in old Quebec (the tourist section) we came across this wonderful local bakery. On 3 separate visits we were able to try most of its fruit tartelette. See pictures - every single one was made to perfection. Fruits were fresh and the crusts were delicate. Delicious - be it cream, custard, etc. The croissant rouge is also a marvel - crispy and filled with strawberry compote.The cappuccino is heaven! Made with skill and care, it is served in a glass cup to showcase the multiple layers. It is then topped off with fluffy milk foam.Loved the service. Friendly, helpful, consistent.This is now my favourite bakery in all of Quebec and will likely occupy my sugar dreams until I return.

Boulangerie Pâtisserie Le Croquembouche
Stopped for other croissants along the way (what else should one do when visiting), and this was by farrr the best pan chocolate I’ve had in a long time. Warm, flaky, perfect. The pastries also look divine. They have some seating and it depends on the decisiveness of the customers in front you for how long it’ll take to order. Will likely be back, tomorrow.
