My $65 piece of meat was asked for medium rare. It came well done. The sauce on top was sweet did not compliment the meat

Food was delicious and definitely a repeat for myself.Small restaurant. Cozy. Decor meh.Service is very good. Staff are very nice.Pricing $40-50 per person with tip (drink, starter, entree). Portions for entree was large so you do get a lot of food with that. Go hungry or prepare to bring home leftovers.Menu is decent. Has a good selection of dishes. An expected size for a small restaurant. Many entrees have meat ingredients but staff can easily accommodate any vegetarians.The food was very fresh. You can tell you’re getting a well cooked, fresh meal unlike some chain style restaurants.All in all, the food is great and the place is definitely worth a try. When I think of something romantic and has some cute hole in the wall atmosphere this doesn’t come to mind BUT it has everything else, just not the look.My rating is more of 4.5/5. Only thing holding it back from a 5 is the decor. End of the day food is great!

UPDATE since last visit. Went on Sunday, July 2 with just Hubby.I had the Gnocchi and Hubby had the Lasagna. WOWOWWWWDELCIOUS . I wish I could have it every single day, I LOVED IT SO MUCH!!!!I have been to many many restaurants in my 58 years of existence in this world but I have NEVER had food as DELICIOUS as we had tonight at Alfredo's Ristorante. Husband and I celebrated our 34th Wedding Anniversary here and my Daughter and her Boyfriend took us here. All I can says is WOW. FABULOUS service, FABULOUS food, FABULOUS everything. Daughter knows that I am NOT an easy person to please but boy was I beyond pleased here. I will for sure be back. The Owner and his Wife who happens to be the Chef, took such great care of us and were very kind and professional in every way. The Chef even came out to ask how we liked our Meals. Liked? More like Loved. THANK YOU so much for a fabulous meal and we are for sure coming back soon. :)

The Bruschetta on its own is worth the visit, the service was excellent, portions were big. The bread appetizer had a nice twist with melted butter, roasted garlic and herbs.Dining room decor and finish could use a renovation/freshening up.Will visit again.

The food was really a huge step up from other restaurants in the area. For the quality the prices are very reasonable. The atmosphere was warm and inviting.Definitely a must-try restaurant in keswick!

Impressive food!We ordered:Caesar salad, that came with homemade dressing, we are keeping the leftover for our next casear salad at home.Mussels came with two slpieces of garlic bread, perfect for their sauce, I cleared the whole plate lolBruschetta, flavourful!Spaghetti and meatballs, we should opened up the lid so the pasta got a bit too soft but taste is on par.Pork schnitzel with great dimension of taste!Was overall surprised!

Fantastic homemade Italian food and very friendly staff. We drove up from Vaughan to visit and it was definitely worth it. Try the baked gnocchi and save room for desserts! They're also homemade and outstanding.Will absolutely be returning in the near future.
