I have used this place twice and have always been given great service and the most cost effective solution.I was able to replace the blower motor on my furnace and the capacitor on my outdoor air conditioning unit.Saved me lots of cash and got us back up and running quickly.

If you own a pool or spa and you beleive your pump motor has gone, do not take your pump to any hot tub or pool store. Boyd Electric IS the place to go. Last year we had trouble with two pumps, one we had rebuilt the other needed to be replaced completely. We had them done in Ottawa and got royally taken for a ride. The one that was rebuilt, ceased on us again this year, but this time we went to Boyd. From the first phone call we knew this place was different. A family business that followed through with exactly what they said they would do. Rates were very reasonable and the service was first class. Couldn’t have asked for better service today.I was in a pinch and needed a motor for a commercial exhaust asap.they had what I needed right on the shelf. If there was a small business that treat you as family It would be Boyd Electric. I needed a motor and fan replacement ASAP. The next day got a call saying it is in. . They know and care. Very impressed with quality of service from everyone.

Pool pump stopped working (broken switch). Went to two local pool shops for advice (repair or replace?) and they both recommended Boyd by name without me mentioning them. Boyd's gave me advice on solutions. Ended up replacing the switch and some worn wiring for a fraction of the cost of a new pump and all's well! They were helpful in-person at the shop and through email. I believe a lot of their focus is on commercial rather than residential but they'll help if they can. 100% trustworthy in my experience and opinion!Not sure if it's coincidence but I equally trust Hermans Auto next door to Boyd Electric with my auto.

Blower motor broke down on my furnace. It happed early on Family Day. Called Boyd's emergency phone number, thought I was going to get a answering service or answering machine but I got a person on the other end that knew what I needed. I told him I could get there by 9:30 a.m.. Arrived at Boyd's, Got the new motor and capacitor and there was no charge for the emergency call. Could not get better service than that!Thanks
