Trains don't run anymore, don't go expecting a train

It's too bad that VIA won't get their act together and restore service. It's a lovely spot for a station though, and the little shelter looks nice still.

Waited for years and no train. Busses don't go straight downtown so kept waiting. Eventually got old and walked downtown to shave my beard and look for somewhere less demented to settle.

Mini Stores there are just ok. They need to build more for sellers that live in Langford and Colwood area. I only say this because they are same old type goods there as you see at every single farmers handcrafted market.I'd love to see the island give an opportunity to small resellers businesses like alternative stores with stuff you can't find elsewhere in malls or farmers markets. There is none here. I know so many people that want this. This place should be different than a farmers market mentality. Victoria and area, needs something different, inclusive for alternative subcultures too. It's says cultural district yet it's not. No subcultures either - Where is the goth, or fantasy festival or the east India or Celtic, Viking or or lbgtq2 etc. Please bring some of this in.

It’s bad when you’re at Langford but you’re also at tusk. Tusk is a little bit better

Langford Station Cultural District*Fridays at the Station* (June 2022)Taken on Friday afternoon at 4:45, just moments after the festivities got underway; we witnessed live music, beer (popular among people who are not gluten intolerant) and merchants of varying wares. (A print press, jewelry makers, a maker space outlet, an illustrator/artist and others). There is some parking; we only saw 2 dogs; the music seemed crowd pleasing; lots of toilets available; and at 5:10 when we left, cause we had an appointment to make, the crowd was growing thicker, business to the food trucks had increased, and more of the community had emerged and were sampling beer at tables and enjoying each other's company. A friendly vibe.
