Came here for fish related things. Awesome store. Big selection and decent prices. Lots of bettas, kind of a weird selection of other fish. Some cool ones but lots of the same dyed fish" another reviewer mentioned.What made this 4 stars for me is how dollar-orientated the owner(?) seemed to be. Cared more about making a sale than giving the best advice possible. Seemed to brush things off and maybe white lie where convenient. However

I came from nanaimo to get some cory catfish and glow neon tetras as the quality and selection in nanaimo is poor. They were kind, very educated, honest and their store has a huge selection. Im incredibly happy with the service I received and would be more then willing to leave nanaimo again to go there

I really wanted to support this local business but they are constantly out of what I go in for. Raw food, canned foods, litter.....always empty. What bugs me is that I even tried to special order by the case and it just never came in. I was assured I would get a call and well, that was 7 months ago now. The owner and the staff both have a very passive attitude, seemingly nope

Great selection of tropical fish and aquarium components. Prices equal to online retailers and large chain stores, with the added advantage of knowledgeable. We drive more than an hour each way to visit this store.
