Potentia HR

The Students' Union of UBC Okanagan (SUO of UBC) was referred to Potentia HR from another local firm. Quickly, we were able to meet with Tanja to overview the needs of our organization. She promptly connected us with one of their engagement consultants, Louis-Philippe Lavoie (LP). Him and I connected within less than 24 hours and he was able to begin to assist us with our needs promptly. Over the next couple of months Pontentia assisted our organization in both HR concerns and lead an amazing hiring process. As an not-for-profit organization, we have very specific processes and LP did a great job in quickly learning the nuances of Students' Unions. Overall, our experience with Potentia has led us to continue a working relationship with them for our HR needs.

Interviewing with both Tanja Halsall and Terry Armstrong was fantastic, and the way they conducted the interviews put me at ease and allowed me to showcase my skill sets. We brought Tanja in from a consulting & best practices perspective during a season of transition in our Talent department. She did not need long to get up to speed with our realities, and was very helpful in fulfilling urgent needs, and longer range blueprint requests. The only mistake I made was not calling her earlier. Hands down the most solid, down to earth advice. HR and strategic planning - if you think you need a hand, you already need to call. She is an honest person and bills very reasonably.

I had the pleasure of working with Tanja both within my HR class at UBCO as well at the Canadian Business School Conference (CBSC) where she was one of our session guest speakers.
