This place has really good chicken fingers and chicken burgers! We also enjoyed their curly fries poutine!

When me and my family and my sister’s family went to skinners, we mostly came for ice cream and a meal ( Chicken Burgers & Hotdogs ). Their regular ice cream scoops were a little too big ( One regular scoop was the size of two scoops.. ) ans I was expecting the kid sized scoops to be smaller aswell. I think the person thats served us that time was the owner, they were somewhat willing to help us, but we did not recieve much friendliness. However, the food did make up for all of this. The ice cream flavors were wonderful, and even the adults enjoyed it. My kids do not think that pickles in hotdogs go well, so they did not enjoy that very much.. The napkins smelled like they had been used before, so I used the handkercheif that I brought from home instead.. Overall, my expirience was not that bad considering some other reviews that had a worse time than me..

We’ve been here a few times before and everything was much better than our visit yesterday. Wait times were very long (not that busy, steady but no lines). There was no salt, apparently in the whole restaurant. We received our unsalted fries and asked for packets, they said they had none. We wished the lack of salt had been disclosed before we ordered. Hot dogs were bland and inconsistent. For example, ordered three Lockport dogs and only two had bacon. Just an overall disappointing Father’s Day outing. We didn’t want to fuss since it’s not the kids working inside fault.

Soft ice cream was amazing! We were lucky because we didn’t have to wait when we went. The service was fast and we really enjoyed the place. Plenty of parking spots with a few tables outside.

I would have normally placed at least 4 stars having been at either location multiple times. But today's experience was disappointing. She may have been the owner. But when a guest makes a polite joke about ordering tea, a hotdog and icecream (cool evening). And you don't even smile. And take the next customer and proceed to get them their ice cream order before finishing yours. And a slight change in tone is more friendly when preferred customers come in.... Makes you think twice about supporting local businesses. Ice cream is good. The plain hot dog with the works is ok. However the tea was good. Business these days is tough, smile more.

Best grilled hamburgers & ice cream. A destination for a summer day. Indoor and outdoor seating. Very casual. A summer stop for yummy eats.
